Promoting national development and improving China's international economic competitiveness requires a high-skilled labor force.Under the trend of “demographic dividends” gradually disappearing,it is more necessary to improve work skills and increase output efficiency to gain the dominant right to compete and cultivate highly skilled personnel.It is of great significance that the training mode of skills competition can greatly enhance the national labor quality and labor efficiency,and it is a benchmark for testing the training level of high-skilled personnel.Higher vocational colleges are the cradle for training high-skilled personnel,and our current vocational education.We are still exploring and advancing the training mode based on skills competition.This article will study the skills competition in vocational education to lead students' skills development,and discuss the training plan design and training process evaluation in depth,enumerating the results of the competition of Chongqing Construction Engineering Vocational College.Explain that through skills competition,professional development can be promoted and the competitiveness of vocational education can be improved.Specific content includes:(1)Define the basic attributes of vocational colleges' skill contests,clarify the function of vocational colleges' skill contests,explore talent training modes,improve students' comprehensive abilities,improve teachers' teaching ability,and select talents of enterprises.Convenience analysis of the four aspects of the need for vocational colleges to carry out skills competition.(2)Analyze the constituent elements and characteristics of the talent cultivation model in higher vocational colleges,and summarize the talent cultivation model of higher vocational colleges in China.Based on this analysis,the problems in the talent cultivation model of higher vocational colleges in China are analyzed.(3)Demonstrate how to reconstruct the teaching management system,teaching evaluation mechanism and security system guided by skill competition,and enrich from the four aspects of organization and personnel arrangement,curriculum design and building materials construction,platform construction,teaching methods and teaching approaches.The teaching management system,and based on the needs of industrial talents to build a teaching evaluation mechanism based on skills competition,from the three aspects of environmental factors,teacher team and incentive measures to improve the skills competition security system.(4)Choose three talent training modes based on autonomous learning,talent training mode based on classroom teaching and talent training mode based on skill competition,from basic skills,professional skills,social responsibility,risk tolerance,teamwork Several aspects of ability are evaluated and researched,and the talent training mode based on skill competition is determined as the optimal talent training mode applicable to higher vocational colleges.(5)Taking the results of the skills competition of Chongqing Construction Engineering Vocational College as a case,it was confirmed that skill competition can drive professional development and enhance the competitiveness of vocational education.
