Research On Management Styles Of University Emergency In Big Data Era

Big data is the product of the rapid development of information,the use of big data to solve the problems in public management is the development of today's requirements.College emergencies belong to the scope of public crisis emergency management research.It will not only affect the reputation of the school but also the stability of the society once handled improperly.In recent years,there is a tendency that the data will be written on the Internet before the student-centered emergencies happen,which has brought both opportunities and challenges to emergency management.In this context,the traditional colleges and universities emergency management approach will be changed,and the management efficiency will be improved.The ways of management affects the efficiency.This study uses literature,questionnaires,interviews,case studies and other methods,bases on the management idea,management organization,management process and management means to carry out the research.This study summarizes the situation of emergencies in colleges and universities in Xuzhou City in recent three years.We study the current situation of the lack of big data management philosophy in college emergency management.Based on the big data management system is not perfect,big data information resources in the management process is lack and lag,the approach to strengthen the use of big data management is not rich enough and many more,it is concluded that several reasons contributing to this problem--colleges and universities lacking of management aims in emergency management,weak management consciousness and legal concept,inadequate value of big data in the management process and different data qualities in college staffs.Simultaneously,We study two foreign cases: the Virginia Tech University shooting case and Russian People's Friendship University dormitory fire case.We also studied two domestic cases: cafeteria bombings in both Tsinghua University and Peking University,parents whose child died hired people to disrupt the graduation ceremony in Fuzhou University.It is concluded that the reason for the success of emergency management in domestic and foreign colleges and universities is attaching great importance to improve the management organization and use big data information technology.On the basis of two studies,we deeply study the reform measures of the management of emergencies in Xuzhou University in the current big data era.In summary,we have the following suggestions for the reform: Firstly,in the big data era,it is necessary to establish the aims of administrating the emergencies,increase the relevant training efforts,build the idea that big data has a related relationship rather than a causal one and raise the administrators' awareness of big data;Secondly,there should be a reasonable system,the agencies dealing with emergencies should be permanent.We should also train a press spokesman,at the same time,joint the force of schools,governments and third parties.Thereby we could improve the administration organizations' ability of using big data;Thirdly,the role of big data in handling university emergencies must be identified as to break the data island accomplish the share of the data and realize the worth of it;Finally,the methods used to administrate should be gradually enriched.We should use the law,technology,psychological intervention,personnel training and other models,broaden the scope of application,improve the relevant personnel data literacy,standardize the use of data.In the era of big data,everything can be recorded.This study is based on the reform of the ways colleges and universities dealing with emergencies to improve management efficiency.Though there are still some limitations of the range of the study,the aim is to call more researchers to concern about the application of big data in security field thus realizing the value of big data in management.
