The Chinese nation is a unified multi-ethnic country.Ethnic minorities are an important part of the Chinese nation.The ethnic minority history content of history textbooks is in line with the most basic compilation requirement of history textbooks.It is also conducive to the inheritance of minority culture.In "The Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(Volume I)",a lot of content about the history of ethnic minorities is added to enable students to understand that ethnic minorities are an indispensable part of the Chinese nation in the process of the development and evolution of the Chinese unified multi-ethnic country.There is no doubt that it is in accordance with historical facts.It is conducive to national exchanges and integration.At present,the research on the ethnic minority history content of history textbooks is still in the old textbooks in the period of "one standard and multiple copies".The minority content involved in senior high school textbooks that have been implemented in most areas and will be popularized nationwide is still blank.The related research can help teachers grasp and apply new textbooks more carefully.This paper takes "The Outline of Chinese and Foreign History"(Part I)of the high school history textbook of the Ministry of Education as the blueprint for the study,and combines the methods of documentary research and statistical analysis to clarify the significance of studying the history of ethnic minorities and the relationship between the history of ethnic minorities and history textbooks.It will also categorize the contents of minority history in the new textbook "The Outline of Chinese and Foreign History"(Part I)of the Ministry of Education from four aspects:political system,economy and commerce,literature and art,and ethnic relations of minority groups.To understand the history of ethnic minorities in "The Outline of Chinese and Foreign History"(Part I).In addition to sorting out the relevant contents,the principles and characteristics of the content of the history of ethnic minorities in the textbook will be summarized and analyzed.Through the analysis of the content of the history of ethnic minorities in the new textbook,it is clear that although conflicts and confrontations between various ethnic groups occurred in ancient China,intermingling of ethnic groups was the mainstream of ethnic relations.The addition of many contents of minority history in history textbooks shows that the state attaches importance to minority history and that every ethnic group has equal rights to development.It is tried to analyze and grasp the content of the ethnic minority history of the new textbook.It is aimed to provide some reference for front-line teachers to carry out the teaching of the ethnic minority history in ethnic areas.
