Purpose:The purpose of this study is to provide practical reference and scientific basis for improving the speed and strength of male college students majoring in football in Hanoi,and put forward the suitable training method to improve the speed and strength of male college football students.The training practices,course arrangements,plans,and processes in this paper are systematic and scientific.My research aims to make a contribution to my school football training.Methods:In this paper,20 male college football students in Hanoi Normal University of Vietnam were selected.The subjects were randomly divided into two groups,Experimental group and control group.The experimental group and the control group adopted two different training methods.The control group adopted the traditional speed strength training methods.The experimental group adopted the speed strength training methods selected by this study to improve the speed and strength.After four months of training,the six indicators of soccer players' speed and strength were tested.The data were analyzed by longitudinal comparisons between groups and by horizontal comparison between the two groups.Results: After one semester(four months),the level of speed and strength of experimental group and the control group were evaluated.This level of the control group increased slightly while the experimental group increased rapidly(P<0.01),indicating that the traditional training method was little effective.Conclusion: The study results show that the 20 exercises selected can significantly improve the level of speed and strength of the football students in Hanoi,Vietnam.
