With the development of quality education,the state and society also put forward a new requirement for school education,In school education,the important thing is not to let the students master the ready-made knowledge,but to learn how to acquire new knowledge,cultivate a group of people with the sense of exploration,cooperation spirit and practical ability.With the new curriculum reform coming up with,the teachers must change the teaching method of emphasizing accept learning,cramming and mechanical training,proposing a new teaching method,that is,inquiry teaching.By references research,the author found that the theory of inquiry teaching has been basically perfect in domestic and foreign.The teaching practice appears relatively rare.Based on the research of inquiry teaching theory,teaching practice is carried out in the process of educational practice in high school chemistry class.First of all,the paper summarizes the formation process and research situation of inquiry teaching at home and abroad,and makes a brief discussion on the concept,type and characteristics of inquiry teaching.The second part discusses the theoretical basis of inquiry teaching from the perspectives of pedagogy and psychology.In the third part,the author first summarizes the inquiry teaching of chemistry in Senior High School,analyzes the present situation of inquiry teaching in chemistry teaching at home and abroad,Determine the status of teachers and students in the teaching process and the principles and links of inquiry teaching design,And has carried on the teaching practice in practice school,The author proves that the exploratory teaching has a good effect on the students 'interest in learning,learning attitude,inquiry consciousness and ability training through the form of instructors,the same group of students,students' feedback and questionnaire survey,At the same time,I reflect the problems in the process of teaching practice and put forward the corresponding suggestions,hoping to provide a little help to the development of inquiry teaching.
