The Research Of Current Situation And Cultivation Tactics Of Democratic Awareness In High School Education Activities

Democracy is a frequently mentioned topic in every field at present,and high school is the chapter for students to form their outlook on life and value,so the cultivation of high school students' democratic awareness is very important to both the society and individual.School education must be in charge of the important task of cultivating the students' democratic awareness as an important stage of citizens growing up.However,the existing research of the current situation of students' democratic awareness is really insufficient,especially the high school education activities,much deeper researches are really in demand.This research invited 750 students in 6 high schools in Dalian to do the questionnaire survey and interviewed 30 teachers,we want to find the countermeasure to cultivate the students' democratic awareness by analyzing the current situation and existing problems of democratic awareness in school education activities.This research based on 4 different awareness and the behavior disposition to see the current characteristics and existing problems of democratic awareness in high school education activities.Meanwhile,we analyzed the differences among different students' democratic awareness in high school education activities in order to accurately and specifically grasp the characteristics of democratic awareness in high school education activities.The result shows that high school students have initial shaped the democratic awareness establishing on the basis of political democracy;and the awareness will enhance with age increasing,arts students have higher awareness than science students;student cadres and good grade students have high democratic awareness;the development of democratic awareness is faster in boys.Meanwhile,there are also some problems: the cognition of democracy is not so clear;the development is not balance,democratic cognition is disjo inted with democratic behavior;the democratic awareness in school activities is weak and easy to become closed and egoism;lack of sense of participation and public consciousness and shows up No-fault tendency;girls,common students and bad grade students have low democratic awareness.In consideration of the democratic awareness problems in high school education activities,I analyzed the elements of individual,school,family and society,and further analyzed the reasons: the content of school democratic education is old and the mode is simplex and boring;schools ignore the practice of students and the democratic management become formalistic;some teachers have weak democratic awareness and democracy educational concept;the ubiquitous utilitarian family education concept restricted the development of students' democratic awareness;some bad factors in social transformation impeded the formation of correct students' democratic awareness.Finally,synthesize the survey results,relevant factors and analysis of causes,I propose a strategy of cultivating high students' democratic awareness in school education activities: setting up right education views and reinforce students' democratic awareness in high school education activities;schools should enhance the construction of campus culture and create a democratic and harmonious campus atmosphere;teachers should set up the democratic educational idea and build a democratic interactive relation between students and teachers;sparkplug a democratic fa mily ties and parenting style,create a democratic family atmosphere;develop and expand the value of socialist democracy and establish the democratic social environment.
