High school is a very important learning stage in the life of students,and students will be face much more study contents,the pressure of study time,and the burden of learning.High school physics knowledge is rich in content,new concepts and more comprehensive,most previous high school students feel that it is difficult to learn physics.How to keep students interested in learning physical knowledge has always been a problem for many high school physics teachers to explore.In this paper,some research work has been carried out to stimulate the students' learning motivation,which aims to explore the motivation of students to learn the high school physics knowledge.This paper has a definition to the core concepts about motivation and learning motivation.It summarizes the related theoretical basis of this research;then analyses some of the main schools and main theory of learning motivation theories;and studies the classification of learning motivation;and then summarizes the learning motivation towards the effect on teaching and learning.With the guidance of learning motivation,this paper through analyses the research status of physics learning motivation in recent years,and designed a questionnaire.The questionnaire was administered to students of Xichuan senior middle school.It includes three aspects:the current situation of physics learning motivation of senior high school students,the reasons why students have difficulty learning physics and the influential factors of physics learning motivation of senior high school students.The research found that there are three aspects.(1)At the present stage,the main source of the students whose physics learning motivation is to study physics hard into the ideal university through the College Entrance Examination.(2)At the present stage,it include external and internal factors which the attribution of the students have difficult in physics learning.The external factor mainly concentrated on the difficulty of the physics learning task and the teaching technology level of teachers;the internal factor mainly concentrated on the degree of personal efforts and the ability of physics learning.(3)There are many factors that can have influence on senior high school students' physics motivation.It include the students' acknowledge of physics learning value,the basic physics learning,the organize form of classes,the mode of material presentation,the experience of individual success,the relationship between teachers and students,thedifference of grade and sexuality,and so on.That all have effects on students' physics learning motivation in different extent.According to the results of the survey,combined with the author's teaching practice and interviews with senior high school teachers and students,this paper studies the strategies of stimulating students' motivation in physics teaching,which is mainly embodied in:(1)Guiding the students to understand the value of physics learning;(2)Stirring the students' need of physics learning;(3)Making the students obtain the experience of success through level-teaching;(4)Positive psychological hint and expect of learning;(5)Exploring a cooperative class to organize teaching;(6)Utilizing the result of learning to strengthen learning motivation;(7)Guiding the students has a positive attribution;(8)Establishing harmony active and new relationship between teachers and students.;(9)Arranging teaching projects properly,controlling the level of students' anxious;(10)Taking good care of the difference of the grade and sexuality in students.
