Teaching ability is fundamental for physical education teachers.In recent years,continuous reform has been made on PE courses in the high school of China,and quality education has made great progress.The survey on the evaluation of the teaching ability of PE teachers in Henan high schools has found the main five questions in the current evaluation of the teaching ability of PE teachers: first,the evaluation system is not complete;second,the purpose of the evaluation is not scientific;third,the evaluation is single in subjects;forth,the timeliness of the evaluation feedback is weak;fifth,not enough attention is paid by the leaders.The teaching ability of PE teachers has not been effectively developed,which has affected the smooth implementation of the reform.Thus,a scientific and reasonable evaluation system of the teaching ability of PE teachers in Henan high schools should be built to improve the teaching ability of PE teachers so as to advance the reform of PE courses.Literature method,survey method,mathematical statistics and logical analysis are adopted to preliminary establish an evaluate system of the teaching ability of PE teachers in Henan high schools on the basis of the current evaluation situation.The objective and accurate evaluation of the teaching ability of PE teachers in Henan high schools contributes to the improvement of the teaching ability of PE teachers,and the sound development of PE courses in Henan high schools.By reviewing the previous related research,the evaluation indexes of the teaching ability of PE teachers in Henan high schools are proposed on the reference of the experts' advice.After the first round of questionnaires for experts,an evaluation system including 3 first-level indexes,10 second-level indexes,and 31 third-level indexes is finally established.After the second round of questionnaires for experts,the weight vector of each index in the evaluation system is analyzed by AHP.After the third round of questionnaires for experts,the subjects of the evaluation are fixed,and the evaluation criteria are established according to the opinions of my supervisor and some other experts.The teaching ability of two PE teachers in Xuchang No.1 High School and two teachers in Xuchang Experimental High School is evaluated in accordance with this evaluation system,and their teaching ability has been improved accordingly,which effectively verifies that the system is scientific and reasonable.Andthe evaluation system has been highly recognized by the participating experts.
