The western minority areas of Hunan is located in the Wuling Mountain area of northwestern Hunan Province.It belongs to the "minority border areas",which is limited by the economic level,traffic conditions and running conditions.The development of preschool education is very different from other neighboring provinces and cities.But,the education administrative department promulgated some policy,which makes the pre-school education in western Hunan has a certain development,but the quality of kindergarten in the region still have some problems.Therefore,the quality of teaching in the minority areas of western Hunan has theoretical and practical value.The purpose of this study is to help the kindergartens in in western Hunan minority areas to understand the status of their teaching quality,to find out the specific weak aspects of their teaching and education,to help kindergarten grasp the improvement direction of the security work,and promote the overall quality of kindergartens in in western Hunan minority areas.This study selected the Huaihua,Jishou and Zhangjiajie cities in in western Hunan ethnic minority areas.According to the information of kindergarten geographical location andnature of the park,through the purpose of sampling and stratified sampling Randomly selected 48 kindergartens,and according to the size of the kindergarten garden and the number of classes in each kindergarten randomly selected two different age classes as a sample,and the use of “Hunan Province kindergarten security quality monitoring standards ” to observe the quality of its teaching and evaluation.First of all,We do a study on the educational quality monitoring tools,which obtained a higher degree of reliability,Secondly,this study makes a survey on the quality of kindergarten in the minority areas of western Hunan.It is concluded that in western Hunan kindergarten educational quality is basically qualified,the quality of many teaching and education is low,and the quality of teaching in different kindergartens is different.Finally,This paper summarizes the characteristics of the quality of the kindergarten,and we diagnoses the main problems and the reasons,It is pointed out that the kindergartens in the minority areas of in western Hunan should strengthen the of teachers quality,establish a scientific curriculum concept and a sound observation and recording system for children,do a good job of home-kindergarten contact work to improve the quality of thespecific recommendations.
