It takes the primary school teachers of Sinan County in Guizhou province as an example in this study to research primary school teachers’job satisfaction who worked in the western minority areas of China, and the main researching methods are questionnaire investigation and interview method.The questionnaire on teachers’job satisfaction of this study designed,can be a reference for related research;The countermeasures and suggestions put forward can provide decision-making reference to educational department and school administrators to make decisions,so that improve the work of education management for primary school in the western minority areas.Four psychology theories mainly included of this study for the content of questionnaire’s determination, the results of the analysis, the countermeasures and suggestions put forward, namely the Hierarchy of Needs Theory, Motivation and Health Care Theory, Expectancy Theory and Equity Theory.By anglicizing the results of the questionnaire and interview results of job satisfaction of the elementary school teachers of Sinan county of Guizhou province, the following can be concluded,1. As a whole, the job satisfaction of the elementary school teachers of Sinan County is at medium level.2.All dimensions from the teachers’job satisfaction, the teachers mostly be satisfy with working environment, the students themselves and interpersonal relationship, and then leadership management, work itself and self-realization, and the last are salary and welfare, work stress and social support.3.There is a certain difference on teachers’job satisfaction by different personal background.From the point of view of gender, the female teachers’job satisfaction is higher than male teachers; From age 26 to 35 with the proportion of age groups of teachers on the job satisfaction is relatively low;From nationality, Miao nationality teachers’job satisfaction higher than that of the Han nationality; From the point of view of education, the higher teacher education, the lower the job satisfaction level; From the teachers’income we can see, the teachers’ job satisfaction increased with the increasing of theirs income.4. From the opening questions and the interview of the teachers, we understand that the most popular questions are these:(1) The primary school teachers’salary and welfare are low;(2) The elementary school teachers’social status is low;(3) The pressure of elementary school teachers’ work is so much.According to the result of the survey research and analysis, the author have concluded from macro decision-making and school management that how to improve primary school teachers’ job satisfaction in western minority regions, and have put forward the opinions and suggestions as follows:1.The macro decision-making aspect:(1)Take effective measures to establish teachers’lofty social prestige; (2) To further improve the salaries and welfare of teachers in western minority regions;(3)We should provide a good policy to support for elementary school teachers’ professional development; (4)Decrease the function of evaluation guiding role of the examination results.2.The school management level:(1)Advocating management concept of humanism spirit should be practiced;(2) It is necessary to establish a scientific evaluation system of teachers;(3) School-based training for teachers should be attached great importance;(4)We should richcultural and sports life of teachers;(5) To strengthen the guidance of teachers’ professional life is necessary.
