| With fast-speed development of over 30 years, private education has experienced great change. As a special branch of private schools, they have enjoyed more supportive policies and investments with some improvements of many aspects compared with the beginning of the private education rise. However, rural private primary schools still have some limits such as their remote location, poor school conditions,water-low educational and teaching quality, lower attention from the society, etc. The purposes of this research are as follows: through deep research of School T,we can learn the problems during the process of development and seek to find solutions to the problems;besides,by the research results of School T,we can find some general problems of all rural private primary schools and hence enhance their total quality;what’s more, throughout the research,we can advocate more attention and care from society and policy-makers;finally,it can give some advice and guidance for parents choosing proper school for their kids.According the research, there are some problems to be solved throughout the deep research.First, the management system hasn’t been completely established, which mainly means the absence of the establishments of standardized rules and regulations and some key organizations;the responsibility is not clear;the backward and traditional management method, namely family management;incomplete teacher management system and lack of motivation for teachers’ enthusiasm. The second is incapacity and the lack of managerial skills with managers, mainly principals. The third is that the financial strength is too weak to improve the level of the private school’s hardware and software, including the lack of training capacity of teachers, resulting in their lack of current knowledge, little attraction of outstanding talents and higher turnover rate of teachers. The last is founders are unable to create their schools with specific characteristics though they would like to have one.Meanwhile, apart from the problems from schools, our government also has responsibilities such as inability to highly manage and supervise, facial and ineffective evaluation, bad implement of supportive policies,not-good-enough capital investment, inequity of private-school teachers’ salary and training opportunities. At the same time, the factors including the source of students, quality of parents, lower attention from the society also have influence on the developing level of rural private primary schools. Therefore,to solve all the problems existed and improve the level of rural private primary schools, the schools themselves, the government and all society need to do something for it.As for schools, they need to establish the modern management system which includes complete rules and regulations, set up key departments, weaken the role of family management, etc;come to realize the importance of talents and choose the right principal and managing people;make full use of funds to improve schools’ hardware facilities and develop teachers’ knowledge and skills;step by step, develop schools’ individual characteristic according to their own situations and therefore improve their power of competition. For the government,it’s necessary to strengthen the scale of management and supervision on the level of county and township and assess the private primary schools substantively and effectively, implement honestly and harshly the relevant support policies and regulations, increase funding, give private teachers the corresponding welfare subsidies and increase their training opportunities, etc.Apart from factors above, parents should also actively cooperate with the school and strengthen mutual communications;the media should shoulder the responsibility of serving the community, make full use of the widely disseminated and propaganda way, call on all sectors of society and policy makers to pay attention to the problems of rural private primary schools and left-behind children education;educational researchers should also turn their eyes on the remote rural areas to make some contribution on education of the rural private education. |
