Hundred years’ policy is based on education; while the education policy is basedon teachers. If we pay attention to the rural education, we must pay close attention torural teachers. Paying attention to rural teachers should be concerned about the stateof their survival and development, especially the environment of their survival anddevelopment. The concern of rural teachers is essentially a concern of the vulnerablegroups or vulnerable groups among teachers, for the vulnerable group’s destiny callaround, is a pursuit of humanistic spirit, also, itself is a concrete manifestation of thehuman spirit. Moreover, China’s Education Building, they really can not do withoutthese vulnerable groups of teachers. If without their painstaking efforts, it is not afrightening thing to say that Education Building is going to dump. Therefore, as aresearcher, it is necessary to issue a cry of conscience and the wisdom of the proposalfor their survival and development.China is a large agricultural country, the number of students and teachers of ruralareas accounts for more than half of the national total. In recent years, the PartyCentral Committee and the State Council attach great importance to rural educationand has invested a lot of hardware facilities in rural schools, which greatly improvedthe appearance of majority of rural primary and secondary schools. However, theconstruction of teachers of primary and secondary school teachers, in particular, theconstruction of majority of music teachers of rural primary and secondary schools isvery weak. Professional quality of primary and secondary school music teachers inthese areas, how to train music teachers, and how to develop music education of theseareas, all these have given rise to a high degree of attention and concern at all levelsof the education sector, academics and experts.This paper investigates the music teachers of Sixian rural primary and secondaryschools from three dimensions, and they are music teachers’ basic situation in thisarea, professional quality and professionalism of teachers in this area. It adopts theways of questionnaires, interviews, and observation. This research randomly selectedeight townships of Sixian, and they are Dayang Township, Huangwei Town, HeitaTown, Liu wei Town, Wafang Township, Dinghu Town, Caogou Town and CaomiaoTown, visiting51primary and secondary schools, the majority of the small villageslack of music teachers. This visit investigates40professionals and part-time music teachers and issues40copies of teachers’ questionnaires,40of which were returned,40copies are effective. After the analysis with scientific data, we obtain the followingquestions: Low teaching enthusiasm of music teachers; a general lack of happinessand professional identity; generally low wages music teachers; lack of teaching andresearch activities of music teachers, attach little importance to music lessons of theleaders. According to these problems, the author tries to mining the appropriatereasons and puts forward corresponding suggestions and countermeasures. Such asincrease investment in money policy; Do a good job after training; Normal collegesand universities reform training scheme. Through these suggestions andcountermeasures, we hope to improve and alleviate a range of issues that concern withmusic teachers in primary and secondary schools in rural areas of the region.
