Classroom teaching is the core of teachers' work.It is the basic way for students to acquire knowledge,develop skills,develop intelligence and acquire good study habits.Research on mathematical quality of instruction can not only provide evidences for evaluation of teachers' teaching level,but also provide guidances for teachers to reflect on their own teaching behavior,in order to improve the quality of mathematical instruction.Specific for the subject of mathematics,on the background of mathematics curriculum reform in primary school,classroom teaching quality is a major concern.It's not only the inherent requirement of improving the quality of primary school mathematics classroom teaching,but also the demands of mathematics teachers professional development in.primary school.Based on the above understanding,this paper attempts to study the mathematical quality of teachers' instruction in.primary school.Taking fractional multiplication two of grade five as an example in School F,this study focuses on the status and influential factors of mathematical quality of teachers' instruction with different stages of career development.The research is carried out according to the two routes.One is observing the teachers' classroom teaching videos with different stages of professional development to analyze the situation and characteristics of the classroom teaching quality.In this study,we will follow Hill's study of MQI which including five dimensions,such as richness of mathematics,working with students and mathematics,errors and impression,student participation in meaning-making and reasoning,and development of coherent lesson trajectory.The second is exploring the influential factors of mathematical quality of teachers' instruction by interviewing the three teachers and students.This study is divided into five parts.In the introduction part,the author introduces the background,the research question,the significance,the literature review and so on.The research methodology is the second part.In this part we introduce the research methods and processes,especially the collection pf research data and research ethics.Data analysis is an essential step in order to solve the problem and get the key conclusion in educational research.Data analysis is the the third part,and it's the focus of this study.In the fourth part,we will explore the influential factors of mathematical quality of teachers' instruction by interviewing the three teachers and students.The last part is the research conclusion and some suggestions.Through classroom teaching observation,we found that the "coherence" is good for the mathematical quality of instruction,but the "richness" is poor;the experienced teacher works better than the novice teacher and qualified teacher.There is little difference between the novice teacher and qualified teacher.We also found that teachers' knowledge,experience and concept,teaching management and teacher evaluation form of school and students' emotion attitude have a certain influence on the mathematical quality of teachers' instruction.
