With the development of educational society and the further research of education theory,people have gradually realized the importance of early reading.Parent-child picture books as an important part of early reading is kind of a derivative to meet the needs of development in the way of reading.It has been found that parent-child picture books reading has a positive effect on promoting parent-child relationship along with physical and mental development of pre-school children.It can be seen that it is of great practical significance to do some research on the state and problems of pre-school children's parent-child reading.However,the development of pre-school children's parent-child reading still face great resistance and barriers that the process remains slow under the influence of many negative factors.Therefore,the research adapts the methods of documentary analysis,questionnaire and interview to study the present situation of the pre-school children's parent-child reading in four-step strategy;Firstly,I will use the documentary analysis system to sort out the theoretical basis of this essay and analyze and classify those existing research results of relevant field.Secondly,taking Jiang'an District of Wuhan as an example,I will use the method of questionnaire to collect data and then analyze the collected data by descriptive statistical method as to make a deep research on the present situation and characteristics of pre-school children 's parent-child reading.Thirdly,the powerful research will dig the state to figure out the hidden problems as to drill down the root cause.At last,according to the problems and the root cause,find the proper medicine to cure it.Combine the previous experience and their own exploration to put forward effective countermeasures,promoting the effective development of parent-child reading to a certain extent.The specific content of this research includes the following aspects:(1)Taking Jiangan District of Wuhan as an example,I shall analyze five aspecs including the understanding and attitude of parens towards the reading of parent-child books,the selection of picture books,the guiding strategy of parent-child reading,the external support of parent-child reading,and the environmental design to investigate and analyze the results of the survey.(2)Investigate the current situation and the existing problems to make a breakthrough.The study found that hidden problems in the state of the issues include: parents are lacking in comprehensive understanding on the value of parent-child reading;parents' selection are blind;the guiding strategy of parent-child picture book lacks effective external support;the environment design of parent-child reading has several limitations.(3)Combining the problems existed in the reading of parent-child picture books,the following countermeasures and suggestions can be put forward including: getting out of the misunderstanding of value,polishing the reading view of parent-child reading,deepening the understanding of picture book,improving the ability of book selection,mastering the scientific and effective guiding strategy,inspiring pre-school children's reading interest;strengthening their family communication and cooperation,improving the social reading organization;creating a more comfortable reading environment along with a good reading atmosphere.
