The parent-child picture books reading is passing love, accumulating reading experience and promoting the 3~6-year-old children’s physical and mental development. For the 3~6-year-old children,reading picture books and having fun before they can read is a arduous task that need to learn, which is also an important part of the growth of their independent reading ability.It can not only improve the 3~6-year-old children’s language development, inspire their interest in reading, develop their reading habits and independent reading ability, make them be prepared for the formal reading in the future,but also can promote the 3~6–year-old children’s observation, perception, memory, imagination, comprehension, emotion and cultivate their comprehensive ability effectively. In addition, in the process of the parent-child reading, the unique expression of good and fine picture books also gives them the influence of beauty naturally, lead them to the big world, and can make them enjoy the pleasure of parent-child picture books reading and enhance parent-child relationship. On the basis of exploring the value and relative theory of 3~6 years old children’s parent-child picture books reading and instructions, the study, by using literature method, survey method and case study method, selected 380 parents of ten kindergartens from Nanchong city in Sichuan province and hangzhou city in Zhejiang province as the research object, and carried out the comprehensive study of the present situation of it, and then analyzed and summarized the existing problems and reasons, and put forward the corresponding proposals finally.First of all, on children’s picture books, according to the popular annual list ranking the top 50 of the children’s picture books on Dangdang book network from 2012 to 2014, and combined with interviews and observations to parent in the picture books publishing house of my internship.I found that children’s picture books on have their own problems, which is the current price of children’s picture books is on the high side. On the issue of the children’s picture books’ choosing and buying, the proportion of choosing classic picture books is low,while foreign children’s picture books proportion is overweight, and the topic of children’s picture books was not extensively selected. The reasons are: the picture books press thought it was quick to see the effect of introduced picture books and the return was great while the original worked slowly and the return was unknown.; Parents lack for the professional guidance of choosing and buying children’s picture books and professional knowledge related to children education; Kindergarten can’t provide timely 3~6 years old children’s reading of professional knowledge and give relevant instructions.Secondly, on 3~6 years old children’s parent-child picture books reading and instructions, the overall situation of carrying out the reading activity was not good enough, it as follows:The level of understanding of the purpose of parent-child picture books reading is not high enough, and the instructional level of parent-child picture books reading is not high, and the extension of parent-child picture books reading is not enough, it lacks feasible reading plan and consciousness of setting a good example of starting from loving reading by oneself. On the comparison of each dimension,the prefecture level of western region developed worse than the capital city of the eastern.The effect of boy’s reading is not so good as girls’.The parent-child picture books reading and instructions of young parents is worse relatively, and the parent-child picture books reading of parents with low education level is worse, the highest level of parents’ education is not good compared with the university level, the whole instruction situation on parent-child picture books reading of the higher and the lower income household is worse than that of the medium income household; the private kindergartens don’t carry out as well as public kindergarten. The reasons are: parents don’t pay enough attention to reading and the parent-child picture books reading, parents didn’t fully understand picture books and the parent-child picture books reading, parents lack learning and instructing professionally about parent-child picture books reading and intruductions, at the same time, the objective factors of demographic variables has an effect on it.Thirdly, according to the existing problems and reasons of the current 3~6 years old children’s parent-child picture books reading and instructions, combined with the relevant theories, I put forward the following proposals: on the children’s picture books, publishing house should value and develop high quality domestic picture books of China, parents and the kindergarten should pay attention to the recommendation of the authority organization and choose picture books of extensive topics and of being reasonably designed. In addition, parents should attach importance to the choice of children’s picture books and learn related professional knowledge. On 3~6 years old children’s parent-child picture books reading and instructions, on the one hand, parents need to pay more attention and improve the level of understanding to the reading, the picture books and the parent-child picture books reading, and take the factors of the parent-child picture books reading into account.Improving the instruction of children’s parent-child picture books reading and the level of reading extension, promoting mutual influence between parents. On the other hand, the promotion and guidance to parents of picture books publishing house need to be improved. Then, experts should conduct parents professionally, and the kindergarten should strengthen its leading role. Finally, the country should propagandize and promote parent-child picture books reading intensively.
