Research On Problems And Countermeasures Of Minority Students' Ideological And Political Education In Southern Xinjiang

The Southern Xinjiang,as the key areas of stability maintenance in Xinjiang,has been attached great importance to by the party and state.The development of ethnic-minority college students in the Southern Xinjiang is closely linked with the prosperity of the region and the comprehensive construction of a well-off society.Thus there's a very important practical significance to strengthen ethnic-minority college students' ideological and political education.The introduction part includes the background and the significance of ethnic-minority college students' ideological and political education in the Southern Xinjiang.And the related researches at home and abroad are reviewed in this part.In the second part,the author defines the ethnic-minority education and ethnic-minority ideological and political education,and then analyzes the theoretical basis of the ethnic-minority ideological and political education and related enlightenment from the "people-oriented" ideas of Marxism and the theories of national equality and national unity.For the third part,the necessity is expounded from the development of ethnic-minority college students in the southern Xinjiang,the economic and social development in the southern Xinjiang and national stability and social harmony respectively under the premise of the particularity of ethnic-minority college students' ideological and political education in this area.And the urgency is discussed in terms of the religious extremism,the rise of separatist forces,uneven network information and so on.The fourth part firstly discusses the successful experience of ethnic-minority college students' ideological and political education in the southern Xinjiang,which mainly includes improving ethnic-minority college students' legal concepts,enhancing political acuity of the ethnic-minority college students and promoting the interact communication and blend of students in all the nationalities.Then the problems are also analyzed: Some ethnic-minority college students are not aware of collectivism;Theirawareness of the anti secession struggle in the ideological field is not in place;It isn't attached great importance to cultivate a team of high-quality and specialized teachers;There's lack of atmosphere for all sectors of society to educate people cooperatively.And finally the author points out that it's mainly influenced by the current society value tendency and social environment.The related countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from four aspects in the last part.The ethnic-minority college students should be cultivated correct thought and strong collectivism based on the “four-haves citizens”.Their sense of responsibility and urgency of anti-infiltration and anti split should be enhanced on the premise of clarity of the situation.To improve morality education and nurture men of talent,a team of high-quality teachers could be developed.And we can promote universities and society to educate men of talent cooperatively by means of co-management.
