A Research On The History Of Shuttlecock

This paper concentrates on the research of the history of shuttlecock by means of referring to related literature and materials and adopting a logical analysis method.By conducting an analysis and research on the current situation of the development of shuttlecock in China,and in combination with the status quo of the development of shuttlecock in Jilin province as well as related data in the General Administration of Sport of China,this paper aims to analyze and study,in a selective manner,the problems existing in developing shuttlecock in our country.By doing so,this paper endeavors to lay a pragmatic and theoretical foundation for further development of this sport in the attempt to raise this sport to an international level.Meanwhile,this paper attempts to provide theoretical support for the prosperous development of Chinese traditional sports.The following are the findings of this research:first,the shuttlecock sport has been passed down from ancient times for its pro perties of blending in mainstream culture,of promoting commercial development,an d of high social value.Embracing the Olympic culture,its ultimate goal is to become a formal event in Olympic games;Second,the related commercial potential of this sport is not realized,nor is its p otential in Internet and the service industry.In its endeavor to lead the future univers al fitness trend,this sport will combine traditional elements with modern ones,and a chieve the revitalization of traditional sports as well as traditional culture;Third,related commercial potential of this sport has not been totally unleashed,and the potential of the relevant service sector and internet has yet to be discovered;Fourth,the development of shuttlecock is not balanced between different regions;high-caliber personnel in this field are not enough;Fifth,the system advocating the true value of shuttlecock is not sound.The following suggestions are proposed in wake of these findings:1.Perfecting the operation of shuttlecock organizing agencies and recruiting more coaches and players;2.Encouraging regional exchange and strengthening advocating efforts;3.Intensifying scientific research in this field;4.The government investing more in infrastructure construction.
