The relations between China and Serbia have been improved to a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2016,which greatly accelerated their communication and cooperation in economics,cultures and some other fields.That means their relationship has been in a new level.With their increasing cooperation with each passing day,Serbian government also strengthen collaboration with various projects in China and officially opened a memorandum of cooperation between China and Serbia about Chinese projects of primary school in 2012.Nowadays,more and more Serbian start to learn Chinese.But owing to the Chinese project of primary schools in Serbia starts late,all of primary schools lack a rounded systematic Chinese teaching system.Besides,there are so many problems about their curriculum of Chinese courses,teaching materials and classroom management due to lack of overseas teaching experience.In view of this,the author as a Chinese teacher was teaching in Vuk Karadzic primary school in Leskovac which located in Serbia.To advantage of this opportunity,taking all of Chinese teachers and some of Chinese learners as the object of the investigation conducted this research.And through the investigation and the analysis of teachers,teaching institutions,the characteristics of students,curriculum of Chinese courses,Chinese textbooks and evaluation methods,to find out the problems that exit in Chinese teaching in Serbian primary school.Therefore,provided with useful suggestions and countermeasures for the development of Serbian Chinese teaching.At the same time,this paper can offer some experience related in overseas Chinese teaching to those Chinese teachers in the future.In a word,it will be helpful for Chinese promotion in Serbia because of its effective evidence provided by this paper.The structure of this paper is as follows:The first chapter : introduction.The origin of the study,the purpose of the study,research significance and research ideas and methods are briefly outlined.The second chapter : It briefly introduces the current situation of Chinese teaching in Serbia primary schools from the aspects of teachers,curriculum,teaching materials and teaching institutions.The third chapter : Analyze the data of Chinese teachers in Serbia and some Chinese learners to find out the problems that exit in Chinese teaching in Serbia according to the results of the data analysis,such as the lack of a complete system,unreasonable Chinese curriculum arrangement,Improper selection of textbooks and confusion in classroom management and so on.The fourth chapter : Through the collation of the survey data,the paper summarizes the reasons of the problems in the teaching,curriculum,teaching materials and other aspects of Chinese teaching in Serbia primary school.The fifth chapter : In view of the current situation of Chinese teaching in primary schools in Serbia,this paper puts forward some feasible suggestions on the development of Chinese teaching in Serbia primary schools.In order to develop Chinese teaching,not only to train local teachers,to carry out a variety of cooperation and exchanges,but also need to improve their comprehensive quality of Chinese teachers.The last part of this paper is aimed to summarize the content and point out the limitations and shortcomings of this paper.
