The core of educational reform is curriculum reform.Meanwhile,curriculum is the core of school education,and the programmatic document of the course implementation is the national curriculum standard.In order to discover the changes of geography curriculum standards in our country,tease the skeleton of the basic education in China,and promote the development of basic education,this study compares the“ Geography Curriculum Standards of Ordinary Senior High School(experimental version)”(shorted form is experimental edition)which was promulgated in 2003 and the "Ordinary high school geography curriculum standards(draft)"(shorted form is draft),which was revised in September 2016.This study compares the experimental with formal edition from the following aspects: the nature of the course and the basic idea,the curriculum objectives and structures,teaching recommendations and evaluation recommendations.The aims are: to sum up that the inheritance and shortcomings during the experimental of the implementation of more than ten years;finding out the draft of the formal edition of the inheritance and innovation;deepening the teachers' understanding spirits of the curriculum standards;improving teaching methods.Some conclusions can be achieved through research: firstly,on the nature of the course,the concept of the draft is more scientific and precise,more forthright.It also adds to the geographical goals and curriculum objectives and make the supreme goal is much clearer.Secondly,on the basic idea,the draft curriculum standard formed a system,which is “geographical core literacy”,and the goal is “Moral education”.Thirdly,on the course objectives,the draft curriculum standard followed and fused the main idea of the three-dimensional goal,and formatted the core disciplines of discipline objectives.At last,on the course structure,the draft curriculum standards is totally different the experimental edition,the compulsory part become a basic lesson,while the elective part become the contents of the college entrance examination.The teaching suggestion of the draft highlights the problem-oriented teaching and the cultivation of geographical practice.It is convenient to understand and grasp the standard from the comparative study between the draft curriculum standards and the experimental edition.However,some shortcomings needed to further explore and make up in this study: First,there is no comparison of the contents between the two standard curriculum standards;Seconds,teaching suggestions are not put forward according to the comparative conclusion.
