A Research On The Activities Of Student Clubs And Their Management In Urban Primary School

Student Community has more than one hundred years of history.With the reformation for deepening our basic education,primary student communities gradually grow with the goal of cultivating students' over-all quality.All kinds of community activities are in line with the characteristics of primary school students' physical and mental,which are in favor of students.At the same time,it affects students learning and life in many aspects,such as: to broaden their horizons,increase knowledge,develop and exercise ability,learning capability and team spirit,enrich the cultural life of schools.However,due to the limitations of various factors and short history of the research history of primary school associations,there are still many problems in the activities and management of primary school community.Taking the urban primary schools in Changsha hi-tech zone as an example,they has been working for a primary community management model for a long time.They try to perfect the activities by organizing skilled students clubs and cradle clubs.They also make great efforts to start grade clubs,school clubs and school enterprise cooperation organizations,seeking the perfect combination.At the same time,in order to show the achievements through the holding of the annual communitycultural and Arts Festival.The development of community activities make the students' campus cultural life more colorful and more and more students like to participate the activities which cultivate the overall ability and core competencies.At the same time,they ensure the activities directly into the curriculum and from the system for the development of community activities by strengthening supervision and guidance of community activities.However,due to the development time is shorter,and affected by the examination oriented education of primary school and middle school,there are still many problems,such as,they pay more attention on "quantity" rather than "quality" of community;and make more emphasize on test results than abilities in evaluation;value current achievements and ignore long-term development.The reason is mainly affected by the idea of running a school,the guidance of the teacher and the students' awareness of participation,among them,the fundamental lies in whether the concept of school running is updated,whether to adhere to the initiative of teachers and students.From the research results,we know that the existing problems in the primary school community mainly lines in perceptive factors and management mechanism.Therefore,we must carry out the student community strictly in accordance with the provisions of the National Department of Education and change the concept of school management.At the same time,we must guide the work of primary school studentsthrough the strengthening of the education department and the school supervision of the management of primary schools to standardize the management of student associations and promote the healthy development of student associations.
