Objective:The aim of this study was to explore the age and gender differences of plantar pressure and body composition in children aged 6-15 years old in Haidian District of Beijing,to analyze the correlation between the indexes of plantar pressure and body composition in 870 children aged 6-15 years,to clear how to prevent children,s foot disease from the perspective of body composition, and to accumulate the data for studying the dynamic changes of the body composition of children. Methods: 1100 children and adolescents aged 6-15 were measured by random sampling in cluding 550 males and 550 females.Through the use of the DST-600 automatic height and weight measurement instrument, footscan pressure distribution measurement system and the DBA-550 multifrequency bioelectrical impedance body composition analyzer to collective index of plantar pressure and body composition during walking. The influence of age and gender on body composition were analyzed by T-test.The growth curve of body composition were established by LMS chartmaker software.P<0.05 was significant difference. Results: With age, children with age increased BMI8 10,12,14,15 years old increased.Male children relative to total water 8 years old,13 years old increase.Relative protein 8 years old,13-14 years old increase.Relative to inorganic salt 10 years old reduced,13 years old increased.Relative to fat weight 8 years old,13,15 years old increase.Relative body fat 8 years old increased,13,15 years old reduced.Visceral fat area 10,12,15 years old increased. While the relative weight of young girls 10-13 years of age to reduce the relative protein 10,13 years old to reduce.Relative to the inorganic salt 13 years old reduced.Relative defecation weight decreased by 10 years,13 years old.Relative body fat 10,13 years old increase.Visceral fat area 10,13,14 years old increased.(P & lt;0.05).There were significant gender differences in body composition index of 6-15 year old children.Pediatric peak pressure 8-year-old forefoot and heel medial area increased,11-year-old forefoot and first toe area increased,12-year-old first toe area increased, lateral forefoot loss,13-year-old heel increased,15-year-old heel inside increased.Boys 12-year-old heel increased lateral,13-year-old heel lateral reduction,15-year-old heel lateral increase.Female 10-year-old heel inside increased,13-year-old heel increased outside.Children with relative peak pressure at 8 years of age increased in the heel area,10-year-old heel inside, toe area decreased,11-year-old first toe area increased,12-year-old arch area decreased,13-year-old heel increased,14-year-old heel Medial area decreased, the first toe area increased.Children relative to the area of 7-year-old front forefoot reduction,8-year-old heel area, forefoot medial and toe area lateral increase, decreased forefoot,9-year-old forefoot reduced,10-year-old toe area decreased Anterior increase in the forefoot,11-year-old toe area and the heel area increased, decreased forehead within the forefoot,12-year-old toe area and the arch area decreased, the forefoot area increased.15-year-old toe and forefoot medial increase, toe lateral reduction.(P & lt;0.05).There were significant gender differences in foot pressure index between children aged 6-15 years. Conclusions: This study suggests that age and gender have an effect on the indicators of healthy child components, foot pressure, and are different at different stages.
