Major identity to students in college is very important, not only for study in school, but also for the career development. Recently, as the expansion enrollment of higher education, more and more researchers pay attention to major identify of college students. But most of the studies focus on master not bachelors especially designated majors. So, this paper focus on the Education undergraduates by literature and interview. The paper choose S university as example, the detail content include below aspects:Firstly, the paper described the related definitions and basic theory about the major identify for undergraduates who major in Education. Based on the definition of the core concept for major identify, the paper choose ego-identifications, social identifications and attitude theory as the theoretical basis,Secondly, the paper described the current situation and the problems existed of major identify for the Education undergraduates. The paper base on the deeply interviews of partially Education students, encoding and analysis of the interview documents. Summarizing the current situation from the level and the development of major identity, and also described the problems in it.Thirdly, the paper do some analysis for the factors which influence the major identify for Education undergraduates from three level:personal, college, and social.Fourthly, after the analysis of interview results and the influence factors, the paper raised the solutions about how to improve the major identify of Education undergraduates from three level:personal, colleges, and social.Personal:Students should fully shows the activeness. Learn to make decisions independently and know more about the major they chose. Adjusting the attitude, studying the professional study with wholly heart. To be more active,and join the social practice more often.College:School and academic should optimize the environment of professional teaching and make sure to offer a reasonable institution. Try to improve the professional level of education and teachers. Design more and more promotions, extend the restrictive conditions of change major. Make different career guide in different stage.Social:Society should create a well public option environment, please evaluate the major more objectively, eliminate employment prejudice.
