| With the rapid development of economy,the gap between urban and rural areas gradually widened,the traditional rural farming mode has been unable to meet people’s basic needs,in order to get more income,more job opportunities,a large number of farmers began to enter the major cities,Of migrant workers.Although the solution to the most basic survival problems,but forced to stay in the rural areas of migrant children,has become a left behind children.Because of the long-term separation of parents with the two places,can not get the family to meet,many left-behind children addicted to playing games,watching TV,online chat,resulting in weakening their family function,media literacy problem is worrying,so this special group of research It is more urgent,especially necessary.In this study,a total of 673 students in three schools in Xingshan County,Hubei Province,conducted a questionnaire survey on the status of family function and media literacy among the remaining children in rural areas.Five of the remaining children and five actual guardians were asked questions This paper discusses the level,characteristics and influencing factors of family functions and media literacy of left-behind children in a combination of qualitative research and quantitative research,and discusses the relationship between them.The study mainly draws four conclusions.First,the implementation of family functions of left-behind children is normal and there are some problems.There were no significant differences in the overall function of left-behind children and non-left-behind children,but there were significant differences in sub-dimension roles and behavioral controls.Second,the level of media literacy of left-behind children as a whole is low.There were some differences in the sub-dimensions of the left-behind and non-left-behind children at the level of media literacy,but there was no significant difference.Thirdly,there are significant negative correlations between the multiple dimensions of the family function of the left-behind children and the media literacy in many dimensions.Therefore,in order to improve the media literacy level of the left-behind children,it is necessary to improve their family function and solve the migrant workers’ problem.Fourthly,the family function of children left behind can significantly predict the level of media literacy in many dimensions,so the family function is a very important protective factor to improve the media literacy level of left-behind children. |
