A Study On Healthy Social Mentality Cultivation Of College Students From The Perspective Of Ideological And Political Education

Social mentality which expresses and indicates social transition is the window to view social contradictions and people's mental world.Nowadays,China is in the period of social transition with deep reform of economic system,profound changes of social structure,and significant adjustment of interest structure,during which various social contradictions and problems have been increasingly emerging so that people's social mentality is being influenced directly.The young college students,who are undergoing the stage of self-development,are thus more susceptible to the influence of social environment changes,which may lead the changes of their social mentality.Currently,the mainstream social mentality of college students are healthy and positive,like patriotism,openness,inclusiveness,aggressiveness,etc.However,there does also be unhealthy social mentality,such as fickleness,anxiety,puzzling,bemusement,benthamism,egoism,etc.This theis,from the perspective of ideological-political pedagogy,guided by Marxism,taking the relevant research theory of social psychology,sociology and pedagogy for reference,applying literature and empirical research,conducts the investigation on the status quo of college students' social mentality and the corresponding reason analysis,also tries to find out some practical and effective cultivation approaches.The group state of college students' social mentality directly influenced their physical and mental health,and the reality of their comprehensive development.The ideological and political education of universities and colleges should give full play to the social cognition,value guidance and education role,and meanwhile guiding students' mainstream consciousness by the socialist core values.Through creating a good environment for social mentality and building a set of effective mechanism of psychological counseling,the ideological and political education shall guild students' self-adjustment to their social mentality properly to cultivate their healthy social mentality of self-esteem,confidence,rationality,peace,aggressiveness,openness and inclusiveness.All in all,the cultivation of college students' healthy social mentality is to make efforts to overcome negative social minds and promote their healthy development,so as to creat favarable conditions to shape sound personality and realize smooth socialization for students.
