With the eighth basic education curriculum reform forward,China's “three level curriculum” management system has been strengthened.Many domestic middle schools begin to pay attention to the development of school-based curriculum,which provides favorable conditions for the development of middle school-based teaching materials.At the same time,in order to meet the needs of the development of modern society and cultivate more new talents with socialist values,our country has put forward new requirements for Chinese teaching materials through a series of rules and standards.In the current middle school language teaching process,Chinese unified teaching materials have been unable to meet the development demand of Chinese education in middle schools.In this situation,Chinese school-based teaching material of middle school is put forward.Chinese school-based teaching material of middle school,which is a supplement and extension of Chinese unified teaching materials,can make up for the shortcomings and deficiencies of Chinese unified teaching materials and should be applied to Chinese teaching process with Chinese unified teaching materials in middle schools.Middle school Chinese school-based teaching materials play an important role in Chinese teaching in middle school,which is of practical significance for realizing the goal of Chinese education in middle school.Considering the current condition of domestic Chinese school-based teaching material of middle school,this paper mainly have a research on the main functions,content selection,principles of Chinese school-based teaching material of middle school,and then put forward many types of applying Chinese school-based teaching material to Chinese teaching in middle school.The research on Chinese school-based teaching material of middle school provides a reference for the compilation of domestic Chinese school-based teaching material of middle school,which can improve the students' basic skills and basic knowledge,develop the middle school students' personality and be conductive to realize the overall objectives of the basic education curriculum reform in China.This study consists of the following five parts:The first part is about the analysis of the current situation of Chinese teaching materials in middle school,the shortcomings exposed during the development of Chinese unified teaching materials in middle school and the problems of Chinese school-based teaching materials in the current stage.In the second part,the author introduces the main functions of Chinese school-based teaching materials in middle school.The main functions include promoting the students' language learning,meeting the need of the students' personality development,improving the students' comprehensive ability and cultivating the students' humanistic spirit.In the third part,the author mainly discusses the selection criteria of Chinese school-based teaching materials' content.From the three aspects of model system,knowledge system and practical activity system,the author puts forward the selection criteria.The fourth part is about the principles of compiling Chinese school-based teaching materials in middle school.The author puts forward the following four principles: insist on the scientific nature,maintain the cohesion,develop the flexibility and give the humanity.The fifth part mainly elaborates the five types of Chinese school-based teaching material compilation in the middle school.
