The new curriculum reform emphasizes the dominant position of the students,and it changes the"teacher" as the "tutor" and the "classroom" as the "school".It completely changes the phenomenon of the“cramming education "and "mechanical training" in the teaching process.Under the concept of the new curriculum,all kinds of teaching modes appear,inducing the "Two Five Two" teaching mode.It emphases the teachers' leading role and the students' dominant role,embodies the spirit of "autonomy,cooperation,exploration" in the new curriculum and cultivates the students' comprehensive qualities.Since the teaching model was implemented,it has been widely recognized by a lot of first-line teachers,and gained remarkable results in the teaching achievement.Combined with the actual teaching practice,reading the related books and learning the existed theory of our school,the author states the connotation and operation process of the teaching mode,and explores the application of the "Two Five Two" teaching model in high school chemistry teaching.By implementing the questionnaires and interviewing between teachers and students,the author understands the overall effect of the teaching mode in the chemistry teaching.Through the practice of the teaching mode in the Second Round Chemistry Revision,the author combined with the class of 2017 science students' results of "the first quality test " and " the second quality test" in Luoyang.The results shows that the teaching model can stimulate the students' interest in learning chemistry,improve students' ability of autonomous learning;it can active the atmosphere of the chemistry class and make the relationship between students and students more harmonious;it can change the traditional teaching mode of teachers and reduce the students' academic burden.However,the "Two Five Two" teaching mode has the following disadvantages in the actual teaching activities :(1)The students' different levels and their limited knowledge influence the teaching practice of the traditional teaching mode;(2)The lack of innovation and their dependence on the traditional mode hinder the implementation of the curriculum reform;(3)The school does not reach the designated position of the implement supervision,pay careful attention to the form and ignore the implementation effect.Therefore,to solve the above problems,the author put forward some basic strategiesof the improvement from the three aspects of students,teachers and school in order to improve the classroom process and improve the teaching level in the future.
