The excellent Chinese traditional culture is not only the carrier of ancient people's wisdom and philosophy but also a great treasure in current culture development.The socialist advanced culture can not be successfully built without the inheritance of traditional culture.The identification of excellent traditional culture firstly contributes greatly to the inheritance and development of excellent traditional culture,thus helping to bulid up a powerful cultural country with distinctctive ethnic features.Besides,it is good for cultivating teenager students' cultural confidence and improving their cultural judging ability.Moreover,it is benificial to the maintenance of country unification and national unity.However,with the advancement of eonomy and science,the cultural communication among different coutries has become increasingly frequent,so teenager students have more opportunities to contact foreign cultures including advanced cutlure,decadent culture as well as backward culture.Meanwhile,the Chinese traditional culture also faces challenges to some extent.Therefore,how to promote teenager students' identification of excellent traditional cuture becomes an important task and objective in senior high school ideological and political education.Cultural Life,the newly added course in the new curriculum reform of politics for high schools,serves both as a useful teaching material and an important way to cultivate students' identification of excellent Chinese traditional culture.In this thesis,questionnaire and interview are employed to investigate the current situation of students' identification of excellent Chinese traditional culture and analyze the existing problems during the practical teaching of the Cultural Life course,aiming to explore a more efficient way to develop students' traditional cultural identification in Cultural Life course teaching.There are mainly three parts in this thesis.The organization goes as follows: Chapter one illustrates the definition and funtions of excellent traditional culture and anlayzes the significance and infuences of Cultural Life course in cultivating students' identification of excellent traditional culture.Chapter two mainly discusses the current situation and existing problems in cultivating students' identification of excellent traditional culture throughquestionnaire and interview.Chapter three provides some useful stratagies for cultivating students' identification of excellent traditional culture from the perspectives of campus cultural atmosphere,teaching methods in Cultual Life course as well as teachers and students themselves and so on.
