Industrial Engineering(IE)is mainly applied to manufacturing industry in China at present as a subject witch is optimizing process and improving efficiency.The requirement for talents of IE is higher when China's manufacturing industry is transforming and upgrading.So colleges and universities have to adjust their talents training mode to adapt the requirement of Industry 4.0 period as the main channel of training IE talents.In the Industry 4.0 period,based on the continuous optimizing and improving thinking of IE,this paper takes IE talents as the research object,explores the optimal path of the talent training mode based qualitative and quantitative analysis using factor analysis,Structural Equation Model(SEM)and Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA).Based on the above analysis,the main research content of this article is divided into the following three parts.First,it makes summary for concept and development of Industry 4.0 period,and does the literature review of talents training mode of IE at home and aboard to propose the necessity of making a study to talents training mode of IE in the Industry 4.0 period.Second,this paper sorts out the characteristics of quality of IE talents in the Industry 4.0 period by literature review,builds a quality model which includes 7 dimensions and 21 indicators by the factor analysis,establishes analysis process of IE personnel training mode in the Industry 4.0 period on the basis of the quality model.Third,this paper takes the SNU IE as example making case analysis.The SNU IE personnel training goal is to cultivate senior managerial talents.Analyzing the IE talent quality model analysis using Structural Equation Model to get SNU IE talent quality model,the result shows this quality model can reflect the real relationship between the variables and get the correlation between the variables.Then this paper uses Importance-Performance Analysis to identify the restriction factors of SNU Industrial Engineering talent development statue based on the indicator system of quality model,converts constraints to talent training goal,gives advices of talents training mode of industrial engineering in the Industry 4.0 period from the 4 aspects of the construction of curriculum system,teaching methods,practice and construction of specialized laboratory.This paper constructs the quality model of IE talents and identifies the restriction factors of talent development based on the quality model,converts constraints to talent training goal to explore the improvement measures of talent training mode,thus provides reference for the construction of Industrial Engineering.
