| In public life,"moral kidnapping" often appears in people’s horizons,and it is no exception in school education.In the current school education,many teachers kneel to the students or punish themselves for their purposes.Some teachers threaten students forced to instill moral values by citing "sorry for parents".These phenomenons happen in many situations but are not taken seriously by people and teachers.And also there are a few researches about moral kidnapping.The harms produced by moral kidnapping are concealed and profound.Moral kidnapping departs from the real meaning of education,which has bad influences on school moral practices and students’ growth.Facing the reality,it is necessary to eliminate the phenomenon of moral kidnapping in school education.By discussing systematically about the moral kidnapping in school education,the study can enrich the theory of the moral kidnapping,make teachers recognize their errors,and then give some guidance for these teachers.Moral kidnapping is defined as "teachers use their ownidentity authority,daily ethical order or public pressure to force students performing certain actions in the name of moral good." Moral kidnapping has two obvious features that are "binding of moral" and "concealed coercion".And it has four forms: teachers’ "self damage type","emotional" type,"standard answer" type,"evaluation suggested" type.Moral kidnapping has certain damages to students’ mental,cognitive,learning autonomy and personality development.China’s traditional culture,social environment and the reasons for the teachers and students themselves have different degree influences on teachers’ acts of moral kidnapping.So,if we want to eliminate the phenomenon of moral kidnapping and restore the nature of education,we must solve the problem from these three aspects: culture reunderstanding,school environment rebuilding and teachers’ redevelopment.For teachers,it is necessary to change their educational cognition in deeply,improve teaching abilities,and promote the development of personalities. |
