Multiliteracies reading teaching emphasizes that reading teaching is no longer boringly teaching grammar,but rather enhances students’ ability to read literacy on the basis of technical literacy of information capturing;understand the cultural connotation while deepening language learning;Based on a certain degree of cultural interpretation ability,it aims to improve the students ’ability to criticize and read,and then cultivate students’ thinking creativity.Based on the research results of multiliteracies theory and multiliteracies teaching model,this paper studies the English reading teaching in junior middle school based on the English reading class.Multiliteracies is divided into technical literacy,cultural literacy and critical literacy,and can improve students’ through the use of design,design and re-design of three links to improve students’ multiliteracies ability through the three links of available design,design and designed.By analyzing the multiliteracies teaching objectives required in the new curriculum standards of Junior high school English and the multiliteracies contents presented in the reading discourse of Junior high school English,in the English reading teaching design of junior high school,we will establish the goal to identify the information,explore the connotation of cultural literacy goals,make in-depth analysis of the critical reading target;At the same time,we also construct the reading teaching strategy: stimulating the context design of cognitive experience before reading,building the reading frame guided by the teacher,the after-reading training of the critical thinking of the innovative thinking and the training ability of the comprehensive ability;finally,we will make the student’s multiple reading ability as the evaluation content,conducting a comprehensive teaching evaluation on the students by regarding teachers,students and parents as the main evaluation.Based on the multiliteracies theory,the author designs the teaching practice plan,selects the practice object and carries out the teaching practice,evaluates the students ’comprehensive teaching evaluation by observing the students’ classroom performance,analyzing the questionnaire,the interview process and the student works,and verifying that the application of multiliteracies teaching model to junior high school English classroom is feasible.The students’ technical literacy,cultural literacy,critical reading and teamwork ability have been improved.
