| As quality-oriented education reform goes further,student assessment has drawn extensive attention of the theoretical and practical circles.Behavior comments are a constituent part of the comprehensive quality assessment for students,and also an important method for class teachers to conduct ideology and morality education on students.Writing comments properly and giving full play to the function of behavior comments are conductive to fulfill the aim of promoting students ’integrated development.The object of this study is the teachers and students from five rural primary schools in the northeast part of Chongqing.The current situation of student behavior comments in these schools is analyzed and optimization countermeasures are proposed.In this study,questionnaire method and textual analysis method are adopted.Through the questionnaire survey of 76 teachers and 500 students,relevant data of behavior comments from frontline teachers is obtained;while textual analysis method is employed to collect 508 texts of comments from the five schools.By sorting out and analyzing such data,the author gets a deep understanding of the current situation of how behavior comments are conducted in rural primary schools.The author carries out the study from perspectives of cognition of behavior comments,subject participation in behavior comments,ways towrite behavior comments,and the effective experience of behavior comments.Based on the analysis,the author finds that though adequate achievements have been achieved regarding student behavior comments in primary schools,there are still some problems such as unitary subject participating in behavior comments,incomplete contents of behavior comments,deficiency of behavior comment effectiveness,lack of feedback after giving behavior comments,etc.Causes that give rise to these problems include: laying too much emphasis on exam-oriented education,affecting the application value of behavior comment;size of class,influencing the quality of behavior comments;teachers’ lack of attainments for wiring comments;cognitive difference between teachers and students,etc.In view of this situation,the author tries to make optimization countermeasures for rural primary school student behavior comments.Firstly,the author clarifies the principles to follow while writing behavior comments.Secondly,several specific measures are put forward,including establishing a new view of student assessment,improving awareness of the comments’ function,following the procedure of comment writing strictly,and paying attention to diversify the participating subjects;meanwhile,enhancing school management of behavior comments to guarantee the implementation of comment system,making use of modern tools for information processing in a proper way,as well as diversifying the ways of comment presentation.By virtue ofthe study and measures above,the author hopes to provide reference for writing behavior comments on students in rural primary schools. |
