As the higher education in China into popularization,the number of university enrollment has increased dramatically and the number of college graduates is increasing year by year.In 2016,according to the figures released recently by the ministry of education in China,the number of college graduates is 7.65 million people which is 160000 peoplemore than last year and hit a high record again.The expansion of university graduates increased the average education level,but at the same time it cause the employment problem on university students.The employment situation where art professional college students situate is more urgent.According to the Chinese university students' employment report,released by Michael in 2012 and 2013,the class of 2011 undergraduate course graduation after six months of the highest unemployment rates for professional fine arts(1.56%),followed by musicology(1.5%),and the class of 2012 undergraduates after six months of the lowest employment rate in the list,music performance major,with 8.59%of the ranking of the second lowest employment rate in employment.Therefore,the employment situation wherethe college graduates of music class situated in China is very serious.Faced with such severe employment reality,how to improve the music major graduates' employment ability and enhance the market competitiveness of graduatesbecomes the immediate problem for university art education workers.That the college students in music major are difficulty to find a good job is a common social phenomenon in recent years in China and many scholars in China make some research on graduates employment in music major in university,but these studies are still remain in employment guidance,employment services and lack of the related empirical studies from the point of view college students employment ability.Based on the actual situation of Southwest Jiaotong University music professional obtain employment as an example,through questionnaire survey and multivariate statistical methods of quantitative analysis of the size of the graduate employability and influencing factors,and put forward with pertinence,in line with the actual situation of improvement methods and ways of implementation,to improve the employability of music students.In this paper,the research not only enriches the research field and has certain practical significance.The research consists of following five parts.The first part of the paper' is the first chapter,which mainly explain the topic background and significance,research methods and research technique route.The second part is the second chapter of the thesis,which narrates the main concepts and reference to the related theory and the existing related research conducted a literature review.The aim of this part is mainly on the understanding of the existing research results of employability and based on the analysis of the composition,is put forward in this paper,the definition of employability and employability factors,which in order to provide literature which support for next quantitative evaluation of employability.The third part is the third chapter,whichanalyzes the reason why the employment situation of graduates is difficult,and according to the existing research results,summary the influence factor on graduate employment competence,which provides the theoretical foundation for next quantitative evaluation of employability.The fourth part consists of chapter 4 and chapter 5,which puts forward the quantitative evaluation of university music graduates employment ability method,as a case study of Southwest Jiaotong University has carried on the empirical analysis,in the end,this paper put forward the suggestions and measuresimproving graduate employment on Southwest Jiaotong University music professional.The fifth part is the paper's conclusions and recommendations,where summarized the all conclusions in this paper and according to the research conclusion put forward to suggestions and measures how to further improve the ability of graduate employment and points out the shortage of the paper.
