Since the reform and opening,the higher education has got unprecedented developed.Education has begun to focus on research and exploration of the related issues of higher education.The education research itself has changed with The Times.The research on education in nearly four decades has played a major role in the development and reform of education in China.In order to further understand the research status of education,find out the problems in the research process,this paper studies the education research itself since the reform and opening up in China.From the perspective of the higher education researcher,the author selects 54 education researchers statistics on their basic information.In this paper,we analyzed the results of 1529 studies published on the CSSCI,and tried to objectively present the research status of the core authors in the study of higher education in China.The full text is divided into four parts.The first part of the paper analyzed the basic situation of the core group of the higher education.The author found that the institutions of higher education researchers are widely distributed,research results contained in journal of diversification,but individual institutions and journal covers most of the higher education research.Higher education researchers and cooperation degree increase year by year,core groups began to form higher education research,research results to keep pace with The Times,has certain policy and practice.The second part of the paper focuses on the research that is focused on the core of education.The author selected the core higher education of higher education researchers focus on specific issues,the basic theory of higher education and higher education research level four dimension,through the study of the integration of text and analysis,found that higher education researchers and its research content behind the law and contact.Analysis found that the higher education researchers pay attention to the content of the extensive,research level and bright,research subject diversification,and the research of preference and the researchers of academic identity,interests and environment have a certain relationship.The third part is the core of 54 of the higher education researchers 1529 research results of text analysis,found the problems faced by higher education research in our country at present.According to the analysis,the high education study has shown a strong problem in recent years.The scope of the research is more than enough.Although the research has begun to focus on the use of quantitative methods,qualitative research methods still occupy the dominant position.The higher education research still has the value orientation of "utility",the attention and care of people are not enough.In response to these problems,the author will propose solutions and measures.The fourth part is the author's conclusions and Suggestions based on the problems of the education research.The author thinks that the basic task of higher education research should return to education,the research methods should be both qualitative research and quantitative research,should not only pay attention to the exploration of basic theoretical questions,and to pay attention to the problem with the reality in the end,efforts to build higher education research in the academic community.
