The Chemistry is a nature science subject based on the experiments which has strong applicable and practical characteristics.As the basic subject of the modern science and technology,chemistry is closely related with people's daily life and production activities.Citizens with good scientific literacy and talents with good creative thoughts are necessary for the prosperity and progress of a nation.This is widely acknowledged by the international education field and academic field.The organization of chemical experiment in junior high school is an effective way for improving students' scientific quality.Organizing the chemical experiment study in an effective way can not only inspire students' study interest but also cultivate students' observation ability,analysis ability,problem solving ability and the innovation ability.Furthermore,it is helpful for students to establish the attitude of seeking the truth and being seriously to science.In this paper,the first-hand information about the chemical experiment teaching situation in Yantai junior high middle schools are collected from the related resources,students,teachers and schools through questionnaire investigation method.Besides,the teachers interview and class observation methods are also used to prove that all the collected information is true and effective.Through handling and analyzing of the questionnaire data,interviewing of teachers and observing classes,the following conclusion is concluded:In the current compulsory education stage,the chemical experiment resources are insufficient and unevenly distributed.The opening rate for chemical experiment courses is low.Students have weak experiment sense and poor operation ability.Teachers do not meet the quality of the required chemical experiment study.Schools paid less attention on the chemical experiment study.These problems are prohibiting the development of the chemical experiment teaching in junior high school.For the problems reflected by the questionnaire investigation,the optimization scheme of chemical experiment teaching in junior middle school is put forward based on the junior middle schools' chemical experiment teaching situation and the new curriculum reform idea.The details information of the scheme are as follows: Increasethe setting up rate of chemical experiment courses.Improve motivational function of chemical experiment classes.Set up two-year chemical experiment classes.Emphasize on the process evaluation,improve the resources utilization rate and avoide the resources waste.Pay more attention on students,strengthen teachers service sense and develop more local resources.In addition to the above mentioned optimization scheme,one experiment need to be selected(metal's physical property and some chemical properties)from the 8experiments,which student have to finished according to the new curriculum,to process the teaching design and carry out experiment in class.The feasibility of the scheme can be verified in this way.This work has guiding significance on the successful implementation of the chemical experiment teaching as well as the improvement of the chemical experiment teaching's efficiency.
