The experiment is the discipline foundation and also an important part of chemistry. Thenew curriculum reform issued "chemistry curriculum standards of compulsory education"(2011Edition) confirms the importance of chemical experiment in chemistry teaching and thedevelopment of students’ abilities. At the same time also emphasized the necessity of thechemical experiment teaching. The biggest change of chemistry experiment on the curriculumof chemistry is that the students experiment rise to a new level. Added "the studentscompleted basic experiment" in the "scientific inquiry" main body. And clearly put forwardthat the teacher should combine the specific experiment content and the actual school,creating the condition actively, through a variety of approaches to arrange and organize thestudents to complete at least eight basic chemical experiment.In this paper, regarding the experimental section in the compulsory education ofchemistry textbook in comparison of the curriculum standard reversion before and after. Bymeans of questionnaire and interview the countryside junior middle school chemistrystudents’ experimental implementation present situation investigation discovered theproblems existing in the experimental teaching, and puts forward some correspondingSuggestions.According to the survey, in the implementation of the experimental teaching, teachers’own quality is not high, backward lab facilities configuration, the school leaders not emphasisenough on the new curriculum reform, the teachers not pay more attention on students’experiment, students experiment open rate is generally low and students high enthusiasm forchemistry experiment and senior high school entrance examination baton" of the studentshave a certain influence on the implementation of the experiment. The author put forwardrelevant proposals as followed: First, Increase investment, improve the experimentalconditions. Second, Changing traditional teaching method, developing students’ scientificliteracy. Third, Complete the evaluation system and constructs the new evaluation system.To investigate the situation of the implementation of the rural junior high schoolchemistry students experiment, its aim is to cause the education departments, education experts, education workers, and teachers on students’ experiment, to promote the reform ofchemistry experiment teaching, and to promote the development of students’ experiment, andalso to cultivate students’ spirit of scientific inquiry.
