Learning strategy refers to various methods,skills and rules which are adopted by students to achieve the goals of effective learning during their processes of learning.It has a significant influence on improving students' learning qualities.The understanding of Senior One students' level of mathematics learning strategies could not only assist in analyzing the causes of their learning differences,but help teachers work out the targeted teaching strategies to improve their studies.Under the background of Class-Selection-System teaching,the paper studies the differences of mathematics learning strategies between girls and boys,and among various shifts.Firstly,literature research method is adopted to conclude the research status of learning strategies and mathematics learning strategies at home and abroad.On this basis,combing the practical characteristics of Senior One students' mathematics learning,with the reference to Professor Wang Guangming's questionnaire-students' mathematics learning strategies questionnaire in senior high schools,the author finishes Senior One students' psychological characteristics of mathematics learning strategies questionnaire.From three dimensions which include cognitive strategy,metacognitive strategy and resource management strategy,the author selects Senior One students in a Yantai high school as participants to do the survey.The following is the findings.(1)The overall level of the application of Senior One students' mathematics learning strategies is in the middle.(2)There is no difference in the application of learning strategies between boys and girls at Senior Grade one.But the girls' resource management strategy level is higher than boys'.There is just an obvious difference in the application of learning strategies among the four classes at senior grade one which lies in three dimensions:cognitive strategy,metacognitive strategy and resource management strategy.The score of three dimensions is as below: the experimental class is the top in score,followed by class C,class B and class A.(3)In the eleven sub-dimensions of learning strategies,there are differences inrepetition strategy,feedback strategy,reflection and adjustment strategy between girls and boys in senior high school.In addition,there is a very significant difference in resource management strategy.There are differences in the aspects of planning strategy,feedback strategy and resource management strategy.In repetition and monitoring strategies,there are obvious differences.Beyond that,there are very significant differences in elaborative strategy,organizational strategy,reflection and mediation strategy,time management strategy,mood management strategy and help-seeking strategies.(4)Combining with the conclusion form the students' questionnaire,the author purposefully puts forward some suggestions on improving Senior One students' mathematics learning strategies which set out from the three dimensions.
