The Evaluation Of The Traditional Village Environment

Traditional village living environment is an important part of the traditional village living environment,which is carried with Chinese outstanding historic buildings,traditional space form as well as folk customs.The protection and construction of the traditional village living environment is of great theoretical and practical significance towards preservation of local cultural diversity,inheritance of traditional culture and new rural construction.However,under the impulsion of modernization and the rapid urbanization,,the values of the traditional village residents have changed and lost their traditions by obsessing and following the city's lifestyles as well as disorderly construction.As a result,traditional village has been eroding and assimilating,living environment languishing and faces unprecedented damage.This paper defines the concept of human settlements in traditional villages,and discusses the connotation of the living environment of the traditional village and further analysis at particularity of the village living environment relates to the rurals..Based on the analysis of the domestic related scholars on the composition of the traditional village living environment,the paper proposes the traditional village living environment made up by natural environment?space environment?facilities environment?human environment.And on that basis,the paper designs the traditional village living environment of evaluation system of four primary indicators and 19 secondary indicators.Taking the traditional village of Songjiazhuang Township in Yuxian County as an example,this paper analyzes the current situation and problems of the living environment of the traditional village,obtains the data through field research and other research methods,and processes the data by the comprehensive usage of the analytic hierarchy process and the entropy method,10 results are obtained.The paper also analysis the overall evaluation result of human settlement and the indicators of all systems and individuals.It can be concluded that the quality of traditional village living environment is closely related to the scale and the development level of villages.The higher scores of the facilities environment is,the better quality of the traditional village living environment.will be.In the natural environment system,there are little differences among each traditional village scores.In the space environment,the score is related to the quality of buildings,the structure of streets and the preservation and maintenance of traditional villages structure.There are lots of differences in the facilities environment,while there are little in terms of the human environment.At last,based on the evaluation results,the paper puts forward some suggestions and measures to improve the living environment of Songjiazhuang town in Yuxian County,hoping to provide reference for the improvement and development of traditional village living environment.
