Teaching evaluation is the important part of teaching activities which assess the process and results of education and teaching.At the same time,teaching evaluation is the important method to promote the individuals to find and settle problems and make the teaching activities develop as predicted during the period of teaching.Teaching evaluation has multi-functions on education and teaching such as orientation,diagnosis,motivation,prediction,assessment and selection.Besides,there are numerous types of teaching evaluation such as student evaluation,teacher evaluation and school evaluation;self evaluation and other evaluation;diagnostic teaching evaluation,formative teaching evaluation and final teaching evaluation;qualitative evaluation and quantitative evaluation;relative evaluation and absolute evaluation and intra-individual difference evaluation;process evaluation and result evaluation.The current senior high school curriculum reform advocates to give a play to teaching evaluation in order to promote the integrated development of students.In order to achieve diversification of evaluation contents and methods of teaching evaluation,we shall pay attention to formative evaluation.18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China points out that we shall deepen the reform of elementary education,establish the essential task of “morality education” as well as develop the core accomplishments which students have to be qualified with for their whole life.As a detection mechanism in the teaching activities,teaching evaluation shall pay attention to developing students' core accomplishments in order to promote the teaching activities develop in the right direction.When conducting a questionnaire survey of geography teachers in the high schools,we find that teaching evaluation knowledge and ability the geography teachers are equipped with are low.Through the related analysis,we find that the school age of geography teachers in the high schools influences what teachers do and how teachers think during the period of teaching evaluation as well as the knowledge and ability of teaching evaluation.The promotion of the awareness of teachers' teaching evaluation is closely related to teaching evaluation and ability.In addition,the practice of teachers' teaching evaluation is also closely related to teaching evaluation knowledge and ability.At the same time,teaching evaluation and ability restrict the attention to the characteristics of geography in practice of teaching evaluation.However,from the result of survey,we find that it doesn't noticeably affect the teaching evaluation knowledge and ability that teachers study courses of teaching evaluation before employment and receive professional training of teaching evaluation.Based on the above analysis,in order to get effective teaching evaluation,we shall build the right concepts,strengthen to accumulate teaching evaluation knowledge,strengthen the practice of teaching evaluation as well as optimize the question formulation in practice and pay attention to result feedback.At the same time,we shall depend on the core accomplishment of subject to design highly effective teaching cases and evaluation scales.In daily teaching evaluation,we shall take the development of core accomplishment as the first be-all.In order to achieve the diversification of teaching evaluation subject,we shall establish the index system of teaching evaluation to embody core accomplishment of subject.In addition,in order to pay attention to the special demands of students' development,we shall design evaluation projects which conform to students' development.In formative evaluation,we shall improve teaching and integrate teaching,learning and evaluation deeply.At the same time,we shall integrate teaching evaluation information reasonably to make good final teaching evaluation.
