With the enforcement of Some Opinion on the Current Development of Preschool Education and Outline of the National Medium-Long Term Education Development Plan by the state council,as well as the implement of Universal Two-Child Policy,kindergarten teachers are in great demand,which stimulates preschool education booming.More and more junior middle school graduates apply for preschool education of vocational school,which in turn,creates both the opportunity and the challenge for preschool education to develop in a professional,standardized and prospective way.On one hand,more importance are attached to preschool education and greater demand for kindergarten teachers' qualifications;on the other hand,junior middle school graduates with low or even no grade can get access to preschool education major in vocational school.As a result,the preschool education majors,esp.with low Chinese language skills and capabilities,are not well qualified in work.Therefore,not only do the vocational school should train more students into kindergarten teachers to keep pace with the rapid development of preschool education,but it can also ensure their qualification in work and provide sustainable development for their after-work education.According to Chinese Teaching Syllabus for 3-year Normal School,“A good command of Chinese is the key to master other knowledge.Chinese class of preschool in normal school has a great significance in terms of developing students' preliminary abilities in learning and teaching;improving students' ideological and ethical standards,as well as knowledge and quality;and cultivating students into kindergarten teachers with four virtues and great passion for their work.” Undoubtedly,improving students' knowledge and quality is based on Chinese teaching.This thesis analyses the problems in Chinese teaching of preschool education in vocational school.By studying the case in Xuanhua Vocational school,it researches the effective Chinese teaching models and aims at promoting the professional training for preschool majors and fostering well-rounded and capable kindergarten teachers.This thesis consists of 3chapters.Introduction including the relevant current research,the purpose and significance and the method of this research.Chapter 1 summarizes the problems in Chinese teaching of preschool education.By analyzing the causes from teaching,learning and kindergarten's needs,it proves that taking reforms in Chinese teaching of preschool education is a necessity.Chapter 2 is the principles in the reforms of Chinese teaching in preschool education.In Chapter 3,the researcher explores the Chinese teaching models in and out of class by combing her own teaching practices in Xuanhua Vocational School.That is,focusing on improving the majors' Chinese application abilities,knowledge and quality,adding real work elements to Chinese class and enhancing their comprehensive ability of Chinese application.
