Malaysia’s preschool education is common,the emergence of different types of preschool institutions,need a unified curriculum guidelines to regulate the teaching content of pre-school institutions."Preschool Education Curriculum" norms of the Education Department of Malaysia registered kindergarten teaching content.Preschool education and primary school education can be convergence and avoid rupture under "Preschool Education Curriculum".Preschool education is an important part of education in Malaysia.Therefore,the research on preschool Chinese teaching materials is of great significance.The research object of this paper has two:one is "Hi! YouYouBan Chinese",and the second is "Small Diamond Children series Chinese".The reason of chose these two be the research object is because of the two publishing house is authoritative publishing house,it has made outstanding contributions to the Chinese language promotion in Malaysia.These two research objects are written for 4-3 year old children,in accordance with the 2010 revised"Preschool Education Curriculum" norms,comparability is high.In the second chapter,introduces Malaysia preschool Chinese education,Chinese lessons,and outline the compendium of "Preschool Education Curriculum" content,indicating the importance of "Preschool Education Curriculum" in Malaysian preschool Chinese teaching materials compilation.The third chapter,comparative analysis the textbook unit and Chinese characters of two research objects.The statistics of textbook units shows content rich.Furthermore,according to the "Syllabus of Chinese words and Chinese characters",statistical distribution of common words and non-common words and do comparative analysis for two research objects.At the same time,do comparative analysis on the Chinese characters’repetition rates to examine scientific and normative of textbook compilation.The fourth chapter,do comparative analysis on the text genre and sentence structure of the two research objects,in order to investigate the diversity and interest of teaching materials.Compilation of teaching material for children,in addition to training children’s language ability(listening,speaking,reading and writing),but also attaches great importance to the development of non-language skills such as cognitive ability,behavior and ability of thought.Therefore,comparative analysis the statistics of two research objects’ exercises,are divided into language skills and non-language skills,to study the uniformity of textbook compilation.This paper made analysis for comparison of two research objects’ textbook units,Chinese characters,texts and exercises,to points out their respective advantages and disadvantages,put forward the feasible comments and suggestions for the future revision of teaching materials.This study has also reference significance for the compilation of other countries children’s teaching materials.
