As new curriculum reform has developed for 16 years,the current education and teaching has also made some achievements.As the information technology revolution and the globalization of economic development call for new talent standards,exploration on 21 st century key competencies and the implementation of the present educational circles become a priority.Critical thinking is a necessary core quality for students,which is of great significance to the development of individual's creative spirit and comprehensive quality.Especially in the information age,with plenty of information scattering in our lives,we need to have the ability of critical thinking which can identify the irrational information and grasp the facts and truth.Critical thinking is a complex cognitive process,whose purpose is not to question and negate,but to transcend and innovate.This paper advocates the way of dialogue teaching to cultivate students' critical thinking.Dialogue teaching is a kind of communication,inter subjectivity,generative teaching,which can provide a platform for the formation of critical thinking.Dialogue teaching has created the inter subjectivity of teaching,which is helpful to the construction of harmonious democratic teacher-student relationship and the intellectual support for the realization of critical thinking.Different forms of dialogue and dialogue between different subjects can promote the development of teachers and students' thinking horizon and individual liberation.This paper is divided into four parts.The first chapter is an introduction,which mainly discusses the research status of critical thinking and dialogue teaching.The second chapter analyzes the basic theory of critical thinking,which introduces the necessity of the concept of critical thinking and cultivation in detail.On this basis,the mental model of critical thinking is constructed.The third chapter is the theoretical analysis of the dialogue teaching to promote students' critical thinking,which states the theoretical basis,the causes of the analysis,the implement state.This paper holds that human cognition of the world is supported by the subjective and objective opposition,intersubjectivity and the unity of subject and object,which provide theoretical support for the formation of students' critical thinking.Rich dialogue forms and diverse dialogue and subjective communication are beneficial to the formation of students' critical thinking.The characteristics of dialogue teaching is helpful to the realization of critical thinking.Rich dialogue form and subject of plural dialogue are conducive to the formation of students' critical thinking.The fourth chapter puts forward using dialogue teaching effective strategies for training students' critical thinking from three parts of the dialogue environment,dialogue capital,skills training in the process of dialogue.The fifth chapter summarizes the research achievements and disadvantages and forecasts research work in the future.
