The problem of employment has been paid high attention by the Party Central Committee and many social fields.The postgraduate education has been developed rapidly with the population of high education.In 2016,the total size of national graduate enrollment is 517200,including 329709 academic master's degree and 187491 master degree.The postgraduate plays a primary role in high education and is a key part in high-level personnel training.So people attach more and more importance to the problem of graduate employment.And it's also complex.There exists many differences in different majors in the employment.Therefore,this paper starts from the investigation and research,comparing the actual situation of the postgraduates' employment and the career orientation,and analyzes the reasons of the differences of the employment of the postgraduates in different disciplines,and at last puts forward the corresponding suggestions.This study is conducive to understand the employment situation of postgraduate students well,and to strengthen the work on the employment of graduate students,and also helps to promote the master's degree in postgraduate students structural adjustment and the transformation of graduate employment concept so as to promote the smooth graduate employment and make full use of human resources.There are four chapters in this article.In the first chapter,it offers the research background,significance of the subject,research status,basic theories,research methods and something new or lacking evidences;In the second chapter,it makes some comparison and analysis on employment rate,company types,working districts after graduation and career orientations of postgraduate students by collecting some data,which is the premise and foundation of this article.The realistic function of the chapter is to reflect some actual situations of master degree candidate's employment;In the third chapter,it presents the influencing factors for the graduate employment differences from three layers,that is,society,universities and individuals.And it states that the postgraduate employment problem should be paid more attention and solved by the joint efforts from national policies,society needs,high education and students themselves;In the fourth chapter,it offers some advice for promoting master degree candidates employment.These advice are based on the employment realities and influencing factors,emphasizing that the national and government's macroscopic regulates are the headstone,high education and cultivation is the core force,individual comprehensive quality is the key factor for shrinking employment difference.
