Introduced picture book is one of the most important part of the preschool children’s picture book. Choosing the suitable picture book and providing right reading guidance has a great significance to preschool children. However there are a few studies on related research and few of them is based on reaction of children in picture book reading.Two studies were conducted in this paper, includes the choice of picture books and the basic rule of children’s picture book reading.In study one,61picture books were chosen as research material according to the three global picture book awards. By exploring children’s reaction, attention during picutrue book reading, the text and theme of picture books, choose suitable picture book for children. Using observer10.0to analysis children’s reaction and attention during picture book reading. Making an assay of the text and divided the theme of the picture books.Finally choosed27picture books. They are involved in each topic.The book have smile and more language feedback and the number of attention’s proportion is higher than80%In study two, Choosing Mr.Gumpy’s Outing as reading material. By using eye movement research,453-6years old preschool children’s picture book reading situation were recorded. Based on the reading eye movement track.the study indicates the basic rule of children’s picture book reading. Finally providing parent-child reading proposals for parents. The results showed as follows:children prefer pictures to characters as well as birght colors to dark ones. Children pay more attention to the characters’ face,especially the eyes, nose and mouth areas.According to the results of the analysis, provide several criterions for introduced picture book selection.As follows, considering children’s interested, taking account of both picture and words, choosing different themes’ book and wordless picture books,selecting the book with human and animal protagonist, humorous and colorful for young children and so on.Giving parents some advices to guide children’s introduced picture book reading, basing on children’s reaction in the picture book reading and their eye movement law. As follows,introducing the structure of the picture book,tring to orientate children towards words, supporting children’s positive reaction in picture book reading and rereading behavior, encouraging children to ask questions, guiding children to focus on reading and so on. Also providing some advices for preschool children’s introduced picture book publishing and composing.
