Chinese traditional culture believes that music has the function of "enlightenment",which as Confucius pointed out: “extensive knowledge and goodness should owe to music education”;“growing up in poetry,standing in etiquette,succeeding in music”.Generally speaking,music is considered to have five functions: social function,aesthetic function,cognitive function,educational function,and entertainment functions and so on,in particular,the basic education.The music in history education of junior school as a teaching resource can play the role of motivation,purification and sublimation for the cultivation of students' temperament and spirit.Therefore,according to the special function of music,if designing flexible teaching methods with music in middle-school history teaching,which can not only stimulate students' interest in learning history and change the way of learning history curriculum,but also can broaden students' space exploration of learning history,cultivating students' right view of history,emotion and values,and promote students to cultivate right historical view,sentiment view and values,then promote students to learn historical ability of overall observation and objective analysis.In view of the close contact between music and history education,they don't exist as two isolated individuals,but mutual penetration and influence and promotion,which is especially obvious in junior school history teaching.Regarding music as a link in middle-school history teaching lets students explore,discover history and sublimate knowledge in the process of enjoying music,so that it can better play the enlightenment function of music in the process of middle-school history education.Based on this consideration,in order to make full use of the special function of music to cultivate students' personality and improve the efficiency of history teaching,this paper intends to make music as a teaching resource into middle-school history teaching.The first chapter of this paper selects the music function in history teaching as the research background,which discusses the current research situation and existing problems.Music education belongs to culture quality-oriented education,which is an important part of aesthetic education and an important embodiment of quality education.Music education plays an important role in enlightenment of wisdom,healthy growth of the soul and improvement of comprehensive abilities,therefore,music is applied to history education,which is extension for quality-oriented education with the unique characteristics of music.Then,the first chapter of this paper reviews academic history about the existing results of this study.This chapter reviews existing achievements about this issue in academic circle and gives a brief review.The second chapter mainly studies the function of music as a teaching resource in junior school teaching.This chapter discusses the function of music in the process of history teaching in junior school through analyzing the function of music.Its foothold is to cultivate students' interest in learning history.It stimulates students' history learning motivation through applying music to education,which is the premise of improving the quality of history teaching.The third chapter discusses how to integrate music as a teaching resource into middle-school history teaching.It can cultivate students' discipline core accomplishment through integrate music as a teaching resource into middle-school history teaching.This chapter is divided into two sections,which puts forward measures to solve the problem on the basis of analyzing the existing problems of music as a teaching resource in middle-school history teaching.Its main contents include:(1)the creation of music before class beginning and how to choose music and use music to convert teaching content;using migration teaching method whose impact on the current study and consolidation the knowledge.(2)The fourth chapter rethinks the historical thinking ability of students and is against the "cramming" knowledge through music in middle-school history teaching and its special function.To create atmosphere with music let students think in the historical context,let history teaching and learning process which has a certain depth of knowledge to make independently judgment as much as possible.(3)break through the difficulties of history teaching and form the historical concept through integrating music.(4)integrate music after class to cultivate students' aesthetic taste.With the help of music,it can help students to remember and transfer knowledge,and understand history and explore history.The "conclusion" section emphasizes history teaching is not instilling knowledge,not cramming teaching and not moral indoctrination,but cultivating discipline core accomplishment on the basis of the author's teaching practice and the current situation which music integrates into history teaching in junior school.The teaching function of music as a teaching resource can be made full use and reflected its value.It can let students know history,understand history,explain history.It can form correct historical view,emotion and values through music.Because of history teaching in junior school relying on the image thinking,it puts forward higher requirements and challenges for researchers and practitioners who study music integrating history teaching.
