English grammar is an important part in senior high school English teaching.And it has been a problem that how to improve the quality and efficiency of English grammar teaching.Traditional grammar teaching overl y focuses on explaining grammar rules and mechanically doing exercises,which results in students' low interest and makes English learning more difficult.Nowadays,with Internet education spreading,flipped class model a ppears and it raises wide concern in education circle.Flipped class emphasizes students' dominate position in learning and meets their individual study needs by helping students take part in class activities.Therefore r esearchers of different education stages try to find an efficient teaching model with flipped class.This paper aims to combine flipped class model with English grammar teaching in senior high school and find out the possible problems and the solutions in teaching process.What's more,it aims to help students raise their grammar grades and develop their interestst in English grammar.This study is separately carried out in an experimental class and a control class.The control class follows the traditional teaching model while the experimental class follows the flipped class model with three rounds of action research according to plan-implementation-observation-reflection steps.From the analysis of data,we can conclude that the flipped classroom model not only raises students' grammar grades,but also improves their affective attitudes towards learning English grammar,including stimulating their interest,improving initiative and enhancing their sense of cooperation.In addition,the author puts forward some suggestions on flipped class model in English grammar teaching and provides reference for researchers in the future.
