Family "Cold Violence" In Cultural Perspective And Social Work Intervention

When the public goes against the controversial "hot violence",but it ignores another kind of spiritual destruction,an invisible violence-cold violence.On March 1,2016,the Law of the People's Republic of China on Domestic Violence was formally implemented.As the first anti-domestic violence law,which clearly identified mental damage as domestic violence."Cold violence" hurts in invisible,it can make the individual or family surface unscathed but inherent may have been riddled with.Spiritual injury exists in the family "cold violence",which is most prominent between husband and wife.Chinese society is in the social transition period,and the social transformation of this feature which makes the model of the Chinese family members to get along with,especially between husband and wife get affected by a variety of factors.From the perspective of cultural factors,some of the traditional Chinese culture,modern culture developed in society,as well as the foreign culture brought by globalization.These cultures collide with each other and,to a certain extent,determine the pattern of family culture.It can be said that Chinese family relations are in the traditional culture,modern culture and foreign culture in the essence and dross in each other,slowly constructed.family "cold violence" is a new pattern of conflict created by multiculturalism.This pattern of conflict manifests itself as a deteriorating family relationship and becomes a social problem that must be seriously faced.Because this issue has a profound impact on individuals,families and society,the community which has long been concerned about this.Family "cold violence" has become an important factor in the destruction of marriage,and compared to the visible "hot violence",the cold violence should get more public attention.Since external flesh pain can be cured,but the inner spirit of the trauma is difficult to heal.Family "cold violence" mainly occurs between husband and wife,showing as the contradiction between husband and wife.When the conflict appears between husband and wife,they cold or ignore each other,indifferent to each other,and reduce the language communication to the minimum level,or language attacks,abuse each other,ignore or even stop sex,etc..In fact,this is a mental abuse.Families who suffer "cold violence" are easier to disintegrate.And the bad relationship between the couple is likely to lead to a broken family.Resulting in family "cold violence" includes a lot of factors,such as political,economic,cultural,psychological factors and other aspects.This paper mainly analyzes the cultural reasons,the present situation and the impact of the family "cold violence" from the cultural point of view,and uses the social work expertise and skills to intervene,and to try to find the "cold violence" approaches to reduce harm from the family "cold violence" to the individual,family and society.This article also begins with the cultural factors that trigger the family "cold violence",and then defines it;the definition of Chinese traditional culture and other cultures waiting until the final social work is involved in "cold violence".Work from the perspective of its analysis and demonstration,to identify the cause of the problem,and find the right medicine.Specifically divided into the following five parts:The first part is about the relevant research background,related literature,the purpose and significance of the study and research methods.The second part is about the relationship between social culture and family "cold violence",including the brief description of the related social and culture's connotations and the definition of the concept of the family"cold violence",and then expounds the influence of social culture on family members.In addition to the social and cultural provisions of the family order as well as family with the contradictions under it are discussed.The third part mainly elaborates the current situation,manifestation and impact of the family"cold violence".Firstly is to explain the its current situation and performance,including the current situation of the family"cold violence".Secondly,this paper analyzes the social characteristics of the family "cold violence",especially from three following aspects the harm to the individual body and mind,to the family,and to the community.The fourth part,from the perspective of social work,analyzes the cases of the family "cold violence" from social psychology,social gender and ecological system.Finally,the fifth part is to use social work to intervene the family "cold violence",including the personal case team work in the crisis the intervention model and cognitive behavioral therapy;group work establishment in the help of mutual help groups and enhance the effectiveness of communication;community social work in the consolidation of support network and "law and morality exist simultaneously" and the formation of boycotting the family "cold violence" social atmosphere;social administrative intervention to improve laws and regulations of the anti-domestic violence and the establishment of specialized legal aid agencies.
