The new curriculum reform advocates investigative study,which aims to cultivate students' comprehensive quality,and promote the improvement of students' ability and personality development.Many places and schools have been looked for courses which are suitable for the development of students under the concept of curriculum revolution.As a comprehensive and practical course,integrated practical activities plays an important role in improving students' ability of finding problems and solving problems,as well as their innovation spirit.This study is based on the Key Competencies.The study takes primary school C in Hangzhou City as an example,and combines the development quality of students which is put forward by government with the development of students in the school.The main research methods are practical action research and questionnaire survey.The author carried out field observation in the school,and observed the special curriculum of this school,"Symbols of warehouse and stories behind it".This paper analyzes the current construction situation of thematic groups of comprehensive practical activities from the aspects of goal setting,content selection,implementation and evaluation system.The author makes an analysis of students' and teachers' understanding of the subject group of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum through questionnaire analysis,classroom observation,and interview etc.There are some problems about the construction of subject group.First of all,teachers should improve their abilities and qualities in the implementation of the course "Symbols of warehouse and stories behind it".Secondly,class performance and participation of students are still too low.Thirdly,the resources inside and outside school in the construction of school curriculum have not been fully developed.Last but not least,the school has not developed a perfect evaluation system.The paper puts forward some suggestions in terms of the problems in the construction of subject group and implementation process and the development of theschool.Firstly,the school should provide more training for teachers,and strengthen their abilities of exploiting and implementing the course of integrated practical activities.Secondly,the school should improve students' understanding and class participation of the subject group of "Symbols of warehouse and stories behind it".Thirdly,the school should integrates effectively the national curriculum and local curriculum.Fourthly,the school should unite the Key Competencies and subject group of "Symbols of warehouse and stories behind it" together to build a multi-dimensional evaluation system.
