According to the history of the development of China’s rural school, rural school has been playing a very important role in social reforms. Nowadays, China is in the period of new rural construction, and it is a necessary problem to the education that the rural school how to serve to the new countryside construction by its own functions. There is no doubt that seeking for the course carrier of serving is the best way. As the school self-development course, the integrated practical activity curriculum is different from other courses, and its can be set around the needs of the development of new rural social, such as the exploitation of course resources, the design of the course objectives, the selection of the course content, the effect of the course implementation and the way of the course evaluation. So, its advantage determines the important platform for the rural school for serving to the new countryside construction. However, the value of the integrated practical activity curriculum decides the course goals, the course design, the course implement and the course evaluation, so the course value, as the important content in the research field, is starting point for this study undoubtedly. The study about the course value of integrated practical activity curriculum not only standardizes or guides the course content and implement to solve the problem in practice, it is also can help the rural schools play its role in rural education and thus boost the new countryside construction and development.This thesis takes advantage of content analysis and field survey method to investigate the rural teachers and students’understanding about the new countryside construction, the integrated practical activity curriculum and the relationship between them, the condition of the rural integrated practical activity curriculum implement, meanwhile, the current situation of its value and its influence factors. Its aim is excavating the current performance of the course value, analyzing its problems, and further logical thinking of the course value. In the main body, we propose such course values as training new peasants, inheriting rural culture and so on, and construct the strategies about the course value realized finally.Based on the above, the whole dissertation consists of five chapters.Chapter Ⅰ:Introduction. In this chapter, the causes, aims, significance, ideas and methods of this research are discussed and some relevant concepts in this research are presented. Also, we review some reported results on the new countryside construction, course value and integrated practical activity curriculum.Chapter Ⅱ:The survey on the value of the integrated practical activity curriculum in rural school. Basing on the survey of rural middle school, such as Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Huzhou, Jinhua, This chapter analyzes the current condition on the rural integrated practical activity curriculum, and further summarizes and reflects on its.Chapter Ⅲ:The logical thinking on the value of integrated practical activity curriculum based on the background of new countryside construction. Through the interpretation on the relationship between the new countryside construction and the integrated practical activity curriculum, and the analysis of the principles established in the course value, this chapter mines the course value deeply.Chapter Ⅳ:The strategies about the course value realized. This chapter mainly analyzes the strategies about the course value realized, and suggests some advices concretely from the followings:scientifically understanding of the rural integrated practical activity curriculum, updating the rural teachers’ concept and promoting their quality, playing the students’ subjectivity etc.Chapter Ⅴ:The summaries and prospects. This body sums up some work that has been done, puts forward some problems those have not resolved or further improved, and finally makes certain outlook...
