Teachers are the key to improve the educational quality,and teacher education is the backbone of the education career.At present,the construction of high-quality teachers is very important part in educational reforms in many countries,so that strengthening the construction of the faculty team becomes the priority in education development.In this way,teachers should reach a certain standard to enter or stay in the team of teaching faculty.New Zealand as one of the world's most developed countries in education,has established a relatively perfect developmental system of teacher education.The practicing teacher criteria drafted by Education Council selects qualified teachers for teaching profession in New Zealand,and helps maintain their holistic high quality.Since there is no national standard for teachers qualification in China,the good experience of New Zealand should be learned by us.This paper mainly adopts mthods of literature analysis,text analysis and historical method.The research,firstly,summarizes the background and development history of the evaluation standards of teachers qualification in New Zealand.This part reveals that the certain standard was generated in the setting of integration of teacher education and development of multicultural education.At that time,pre-service teacher education reform continued to be deepen,quality of in-service teachers continued to slide,and the old standard became no more applicable.So that the new standard is established.Secondly,introduces the concrete contents of the evaluation standards of teachers qualification in New Zealand,includes two dimensionalities:professional relationships and professional values and professional knowledge in practice.Thirdly,introduces the application of evaluation standards of teachers qualification in New Zealand in Induction and Mentoring Project and Appraisal of Teachers Project.Fourthly,analyzes the characteristics of evaluation standards of teachers qualification in New Zealand.Such as conformability,expansibility,phase and specialty of the setting institution.At last,the research expounds the consultation and enlightenment that our country's formulation of the evaluation standards of teachers qualification can draw from the practising teacher criteria of New Zealand.The paper holds that we should accelerate the process of setting up the evaluation standards of teachers qualification,and detailing the concrete contents.In addition,we'd better establish a special organization to be responsible for relative work to improve the specialty of teachers' audit and bring the development in the teachers'specialization.
