At present,the number of secondary vocational students have risen from over four million to over twenty million in our country.We can see that secondary vocational student is an important part of our country's labor resources and a vital strength of industrial army in the future.They are also an important pillar of social construction of Chinese nation.The State Council who issue[2014]No.19 document "Decision of the State Council on Accelerating the Development of Modern Vocational Education" requires our country to accelerate the development of vocational education,improve the ideological and political quality and comprehensive ability of secondary vocational students.However,in current actual vocational school campus,there are worrying problems about ideological and political quality of some secondary vocational students,including the weakness of sense of integrity,the lack of enthusiasm to participate in political affairs,the lack of life and learning goals,the weakness of legal awareness,and so on.Besides,the overall ideological and political quality of secondary vocational students shows a declining trend which increases difficulty in ideological and political education of vocational schools.At present,there are some problems in ideological and political education of vocational schools,such as lack of attention,backward education content and methods,lack of faculty,and deviation from practical life.Similarly,the social environment,the school education and family education methods and other factors can affect the cultivation and development of secondary vocational students' ideological and political quality.Therefore,facing with a series of new problems,it is necessary for ideological and political education workers to carry out investigation on ideological and political quality of secondary vocational students and to explore solutions to the problems found in the survey results.This study use self-adapted "The questionnaire of secondary vocational students' ideological and political situation" as survey tool,and take Guangzhou M vocational and technical school as research object to conduct a questionnaire,and finally forms the paper.This research is divided into four parts in structure.The first part is foreword,which puts forward the source of the problem and states the theoretical and practical significance of the study.It also reviews the current literature on students' ideological and political education around the world,and describes the research methods of this study briefly.The second part is current situation of secondary vocational students' ideology and politics.This part conducts a questionnaire on the current situation of secondary vocational students' ideology and politics and analyzes the data of the survey.The survey results show that the mainstream of the ideological and political quality of the students is positive and healthy,but there are still many problems,the weakness of sense of integrity,the lack of enthusiasm about political affairs,the lack of life and learning goals,the weakness of sense of law,obvious psychological problems,weak willpower and so on.The third part is the analysis of the causes of secondary vocational students' ideological and political problems.Researchers combine their theoretical study with work experience to analyze deeply the reasons of secondary vocational students' ideological and political problems from four aspects:the individuals,families,schools and society.Mainly reflected in the special period of individual development in the individual students,children's education of family is not scientific,vocational schools lack training on the ideological and political quality of students,social environment on the physical and mental health of students have a certain impact and so on..The fourth part is to put forward effective measures to improve ideological and political quality of secondary vocational school students from three aspects:family,school and society.Mainly recommend parents to improve their own quality and implement a positive family education,schools attach importance to and innovation of ideological and political quality of education,and society build a harmonious environment for students to provide a good platform for healthy development.
